Best knives out there
For the average person who cooks once a day these are the best knives. They beat Japanese steel knives any day because they are razor sharp and can be really easily sharpened. Highly recommend

razor sharp 10 inch chef knife for < ยฃ9
I bought this as i want to practice wet sharpening and don't want to wreck my expensive knives. have to say i'm really impressed with it. I got it in a sale for less than ยฃ9 doesn't have a full tang, but it seems sturdy and handle has a good grip and feel like it will put up with some abuse it made from x30 cr13 steel so should wear more quickly than really good quality knives, but been using it for a few days now and its holding up well will have to wait for it to blunt before i practice sharpening

Better than much more expensive options.
Much better to handle and holds its edge far longer than knives that cost more than three times as much. Excellent value for money.

Itโs actually really good
Having spent a few years working in kitchens Iโve used/owned my fair share of knives. When ever Iโm asked about kitchen knives I will always recommend mercer, the bevel you get in my opinion is as precise as you would get from any of the big names. The black Handle ones feel and look very similar to victorinox fibrox, they also have some that look and feel very much like WรSTHOF.

It is a very big knife
Returned the product as it was too big for me to handle. Exchanged for a smaller one

This is easily the best bang for your buck
The first thing I'll say is that I've been a chef for 6 years now and I haven't owned my own blades. Buying a knife is a pain in the butt because it's hard to choose without being able to hold it in your hand. That being said considering the price of these knives I figured I'd give it a chance. This is easily the best bang for your buck! The mixed high carbon and steel hasn't had to be sharpened yet, it came Factory sharp and I haven't even hit it with a steel yet. The balance is nice and the handle is good for people with shorter fingers or fat Palms. If your culinary student I absolutely recommend these knives for three important reasons, the color coding will make it easy for you to keep your knives separate from everybody else's, the lightweight but balanced feel of the knife will help stop any fatigue of a new Chef's wrist, and finally and maybe most importantly the price that you're paying for the quality that you're getting is absolutely worth it for a brand new chef. Easy five star rating and I will be a return customer

Very good basic kitchen knife
Sharp and simple, with an easy to grip handle. This is obviously not a fancy expensive knife, but compared with most supermarket knives it cuts better, is lighter weight, and easier to hold. It has no bolster (no bar of thicker steel near the handle); this makes the knife easier to sharpen, and in my opinion easier to use too, but if you like to have a bolster then this might not be your knife. The blade is thick enough for good strength, but not so thick that it gets in the way. (Many of the supermarket knives are so thick and heavy that slicing a carrot is like splitting wood!) If you are a specialized highly-skilled cook, you'll probably want three or four different knives that are all better than this one. But if you belong to the other 95% of people, like I do, then this knife does the job right for not too much money.

The workhorse behind any kitchen
I don't like taking my expensive knives into work. This is a great alternative. It comes from the factory with a decent edge on it and when sharpened it keeps the edge fairly well. I like the grip as well. When things get greasy the rubber handle doesn't feel like it's going to slip. You can't go wrong with this knife.

This is an excellent chef knife
So I've spent hundreds of dollars on very expensive chef knives for my kitchens. I like to cook and enjoy using high quality tools. I've tried Bob Kramer knives, Damascus steel knives and other expensive ones; this $20 knife surpasses them all!!! Why you say? The knife is thin kerf blade making it easy and light to use, it stays sharp and very versatile. I noticed that other expensive knives have thick blades making them heavy and, most of all, too thick to easily pass through an onion for example. I put all of my other knives away (sold a couple of EBay) and now I mostly use this one. Thinking of purchasing the 8" model for general purpose as well. Furthermore, though I take care of this knife, I don't panic when others use/abuse it because I can always get another one for $20!!
