Great sword
Feels nice in the hand and comes sharp.
User
Good sword minor issues mostly from shipping Iโd assume.
Itโs a beautiful sword and I already own many shinwa katana but this one came with a slight bend in the blade and damage to the Saya and tsuka
User
Beautiful, hefty and tight
It was beautifully boxed in a storage box. Packaging was great, protective. The sword is hefty, tight and beautiful. It's tight enough to use as a walking stick, and since swords are legal for open carry in Texas now, it's going to get a lot of use as such.

Sword
Swords are awesome

It will cut!
Sharp, not razor sharp but enough for clean cuts on appropriate targets. I even felt confident enough to do some light landscaping! No chips or bends after multiple hits on thumb sized oak. Well worth the price.
User
Beautiful until you look down the blade
Beautiful sword except for the 1/8 inch bend in the blade
User
Seems very well built.
Beautiful sword. I have yet to strike it on a cutable object. I will update my review as I use the sword. The paint on the scabbard chips and scratches very easy. I will be resurfacing mine.

Shinwa handmade Samurai
IT'S NO SAMURAI! It's an ok blade, but it's a totally finesse type of blade. Not meant for cutting anything with substance! The people at the company are VERY SHADY! I'll be buying more blades in my future, but never from these guys! Never ever!Hawk
