SEAFLO Electric Marine Bilge Pumps

This is complete junk. It might have some value as a pump to start a siphon but as a bilge pump it is an epic fail. It was the cheapest pump I could find for the project I was working on and according to the specs should have worked. Bottom line is that if you are planning to use this as a bilge pump, order life jackets and a couple of pails 'cause this aint it! Has no power to lift fluid event the smallest of heights so I have no idea how it would work as a bilge pump.

I’m using this for a solar project, ran easily off a 50w panel when connected directly. I won’t set it up for long term use until next summer but it seemed to pump well during testing.

The brand new was okay as I had used this brand of pump with AC power. But DC power water pump like this one, it is worst ever. It was only last two months, I could not find a way to return for replacement, no service, no responsible for the product from online channel by Jeff, or maker. I

I bought this water pump without realizing that it comes with bare wire at the end. It works as a pump; however, I am having a great difficulty finding the connecter or cigarette lighter plug to make it work for me. I think the producer just wants to save money by not including the connecter. It created a lot of trouble for me. Besides, it costs almost about the same amount of money to get a cigarette lighter plug. I am giving this product a three stars because the trouble I have to go through to make it work, and it works as it should once I found the connecter.

One of our out of state customers had a problem with his bilge pump and we could not find one locally. Looked on Amazon, and voila, here is exactly what we are looking for and we will get it way before what the local marinas said they could. Ordered it, got it within a few days, installed, and happy customer can now enjoy the area lakes. Great transaction and great product. Very satisfied all the way around.

We needed to replace our old bilge pump on our Cal 39 sailboat. My husband liked the look and sound of this product, so we purchased it, and he installed it with no problem at all. We read the reviews before buying it, and because they were so favorable, it influenced this purchase. We are not sorry that we did.

I wanted a small pump to empty rain water out of a fishing boat. I wanted a small, low energy pump that could empty a few inches in a couple minutes. This fit the bill and the flow rate was impressive. Minus 1 star because I did have a couple pine needles get through the filter. No harm done and easy to clean out.

Purchased this for this season to replace my Rule bilge pump after trying a Seaflo last year for my freshwater supply. I see no reason to spend 3x the price on a rule when this has a 4 year warranty. Will update with performance review.
