Drum Dolly 5 Gallon Bucket w Swivel Casters Heavy Duty Steel Frame Easy Rolling

I used this well-made dolly to turn a useless Home Depot Bucket Head vacuum into a useful shop vac. The Bucket Head attachment is too heavy and this causes the assembly to fall over too easily. I attached a round piece of plywood to the dolly with screws, attached a series of L brackets to the periphery of the plywood and attached the base of the 5 gallon bucket to the L brackets with a few turns of duct tape (see picture). I added a Rockler small tool vacuum attachment and I now have a very useful shop vac. I highly recommend for this application.

Purchased a single dolly to see the quality and it was great then I Bought 10 of these and there was only one that had all 4 castors that worked properly. Had to spend another $100 to buy new castors. A Bucket dolly that doesn’t roll? ! Emailed the company and they never responded. Will never buy or recommend these again which is so frustrating because I really loved the first one I got.

The casters were sent “Dry” lubed and after working and 3 days of moving around now rolls and turns as should. The frame is well made. Casters are well made but attention to detail, no lube, is very poor.

Works good hard to assemble nuts are covered up and hard to get to.

Had to screw down a 5-gallon bucket lid to the base, because the joint compound buckets are a little smaller than the unit. But other than that, it's excellent....
