effective tool
it is simple and very effective tool, especially for those who spends a lot of time on the road. it works for different types of tires. It works under different weather conditions. I am happy to have it in the cabin of my passenger van.

Great value for the money
I recently bought a Ram 2500 truck and the tires can be up to 80psi. I had a good quality tire gauge, but it only read up to 60psi. After reading reviews I decided on this model. It seems very well made for the money and is a great value.

Just right
This works out very well for me. I have lots of problems with my knee's and with this air gauge I don't have to squat down to check tire pressures. The face is large enough to be easily seen as well. Just hope it lasts like a long time. I just wish the hose was about 4" longer.

You Need Three (3) Hands to Operate This Thing!
I bought this gauge to measure tire pressure on the bicycles we ride... It is a royal PITA to use and is inaccurate to boot. You need one hand to hold the gauge part, another hand to apply the swivel head to the tire valve, and the third hand to steady the bike tire. The swivel head and the stiff rubber tube continuously fight each other. This gauge showed NO CHANGE in PSI as I applied air to the bicycle tires -- double checked with another tire gauge and YES, there was an increase in PSI!! Avoid this!! I've thrown it in a corner have have gone back to my cheapo pencil-style bike pressure gauge.

Short head means difficult to form good seal, overreads pressures
Having owned similar hosed angled head gauges the biggest problem with this design is the short head that attaches to the stem. It is shorter than my old gauge which means the smallest misalignment with the tire stem means leaking of air. It has to be pretty much perfectly level and it can be hard to tell which way the head needs to go to be flat. The gauge also seems to over read pressure where my digital gauge will say 42 and an older similar gauge says 41 the summit tools gauge will read 44-45. Overall the biggest problem is the head as it is too short and allows too much movement which can leak air if not PERFECTLY aligned.
