I'm happy with these
I'm happy with these, the shape and "etching" is very nice, nice molding, but I bought them knowing I was going to re-paint them. Having been warned by previous reviews I expected the paint job not to be very good, but boy was it terrible. The wrong paint (easily scraped off), already badly chipped and very sloppily applied. For me it was a fun project to paint them, and the end result is, I think, beautiful, but not good straight out of the box.

Paint comes off, but it's suitable as a toy
Pros: It looks just like Legolas's long blades! It's the right size and the styling is pretty intricate. The plastic isn't the sturdiest, but it's strong enough that you can poke and hit your friends without worrying that you'll break it in half. Cons: THE PAINT. The paint flakes off and leaves the colorless, white plastic showing. All it takes is touching it. This is a major problem. I tried to repaint it many times, with varying types of paint. There is no paint or Sharpie that will stick on this plastic permanently. If you just want to set it somewhere and will only touch it minimally, the paint will stay on. If you plan to actually use it, the paint will come off just through being it being handled. Conclusion: This is a decent replica of Legolas's long blades, good enough to do casual cosplay or just to mess around with. If you want your costume to be perfect, these might not be for you, at least not without a lot of frustrating work. I found that multiple thin layers of spray paint worked the best and looked great, but after one day of cosplaying, the paint on the handle was again coming off. I'm alright with it because it's just a toy, but don't expect it to be photo-perfect.

Cheap VERY Cheap
Not worth the money! When I received the swords paint was already chipped off of it. Its like a paper towel cardboard roll shaped into the form of a sword...... Not the good paper towel card board either.... the I'm low on cash and I need to get gas tomorrow type paper towel. I'M OUT!!!! (Drops the Mic)

My grandson loves this. Exactly what he wanted. So far has had lots of play with it and although it looks a bit flimsy it's surviving well

This product is good it’s a lot smaller than expected but it turned out better since my little brother ended up hitting everyone in the face with it anyways
