I thought I'd do an experiment with 6 Tomato plants. Three have the Red Tomato Halo's and three without. As you can see the ones with the Halo have grown more and seem more turgid than those without. I like the feature of the slow dripping water. Tomato plants don’t like wet feet and the aids in the even distribution of water around the plant. I will definitely be buying more of these. Highly reccommend.

This product arrived 4 days early. Yay. Now I can put the other tomatoes in their grow bags using the rings. My dad used old coffee cans with holes to water/fertilize tomatoes.

We love these halos…people stop all the time and ask us where we got them….great product….they hold up great this is the third year we have used them.

These worked out ok for the garden. Nice to have something on the side to help hold the water.

I was skeptical of these, especially given that they're not exactly cheap. How can you improve on mother nature? Well, I had roughly 60 tomato plants this year and the 6 that were given halos ended up far larger than any of the others. My plants ranged from runts to tall and healthy. The lucky 6 with rings grew so fast that by the time the others were waist high, they were as tall as my shoulders and spreading out in every direction for a diameter of 4 to 6 ft. Never had tomatoes grow so well before even in my rich loamy soil. P.S. The morning glorys that so quickly wrap themselves around my plants and strangle them never got close to those in the halos. The physical barrier seemed quite effective. I'll be ordering a dozen more for next year. Nice!

I used this last summer in my garden and loved it. The plants did well and it made watering so easy, just fill the well and move on. The halo makes it easy to offer a consistent amount of water each time I watered which makes for a healthier plant. I didn't get water erosion around the plant roots and it kept the weeds away from the base of the plant. I used these in a raised bed and a regular bed with similar results. I had no problem with the drain holes clogging and my round tomato cage fit through the pre-made holes at the top. It is sturdy unit and will last many seasons. I am going to purchase more of these this year and use them for other types of veggies.

Nice to concentrate water to plants but any debris into halo had to be cleared out in order for water to drain This became a problem as plants increased in size and it was more difficult to see and get to to clean
