A vegan, complex bone supplement with branded ingredients
Olena has recently improved their algal calcium formula to include only branded ingredients: vitamin K2-MK-7 in the form of MenaquinGold; and Vitashine, which is a branded form of vegan vitamin D3 made from lichen. The main ingredient is still Aquamin, which is made by an Irish company called Marigot, Inc. This is the dried, powdered form of a type of wild sea vegetable that is harvested off the coast of Iceland in the N. Atlantic. Aquamin is very rich in calcium and many trace minerals. Vit K2-MK-7 and vit D3 are co-factors required for better mineral absorption into the bone matrix. The only thing that one needs now is for Olena to market a larger size jar, perhaps a 120-count or 180-count, and pass the savings on to the customer.
