You need to be a strong person to lock and load this giant slingshot. The pull for 50 feet is probably 80lbs + to lock into the clamped on trigger mechanism. Trigger was separate and you really need it. I bought an 11oz shot bag and kit with special string and larger rope with handles for the saw. You need to follow their directions and load the bag just so before to pull the rubber slingshot down into the trigger. Aiming it was actually easier than I thought. I practiced in a big yard to find out how to use it. Worth the money and fun to use. Well made.

Big Shot is an awesome tool for placing lines in tree canopies. We are using ours to install ham radio wire antennas from tree to tree. The Big Shot Slingshot heavy rubber cords require a mighty pull—which makes it difficult to pull and aim at the same time. The Big Hot trigger makes it easy to point and aim with good accuracy. Highly recommend it!

Safety is a little difficult to release. Greatly improved Big Shot sling. After a couple months on the pole, the trigger molded to the pole and was easier to move around.

当初は手作業にて操作していました。スローウェイトを飛ばすゴムチューブですから、張力もかなり高く、本番作業前に疲れてしまいます。ショットトリガーを導入することによって、目的ルートへの精度もかなり上がります。新品状態では、サポートゴムもかたく、新しいうちは、純正調整ボルト(М5x30mm六角レンチで締め付けタイプ)では、純正パイプでも調整ギリギリなので、M5x35mm六角ボルトに交換すると、空回りもせずに取り付け調整幅も稼げます。本体と締め付け部は樹脂製品なので、力業で締め付けるのは、寒い時期は要注意です。純正ボルトで緩めた状態での、新品本体内径(挟めるパイプ径)は30.9mmでした。持ち運びを考え、アフターマーケットの伸縮式アルミパイプに交換する予定です。トリガーのリリース解除レバーはテンションがかかっていると、操作がかたいので、レバーにゴムチューブをかぶせています。

Der Trigger ist eine gute Ergänzung zur Big Shot. Ich habe anschließend einige Tests durchgeführt, um zu probieren wie hoch bzw weit ich von welcher Vorspannung aus komme. Vor allem kann man so in Ruhe zielen und benötigt so weniger Versuche beim Einbau der Pilotschnur

The Big Shot works much better with this Trigger. Now I can compensate for desired shot distance. I'm now taking down monster trees.

As an Arborist that works predominantly on urban street trees this is a time saver. It allows me to higher points in the tree a lot quicker than manually throwing and with a hell of a lot less attempts. It’s a tight fit on my big shot pole but it goes on easy enough. Within 2 shots I’d figured out how to use it efficiently. It was actually cheaper to buy from Amazon than my local stockist. Extremely happy with this purchase.
