Medline Super Absorbent Underpad

The Medline Ultrasorbs Drypads have been a huge help for my dad after having his bladder removed. Sometimes the pack that holds the urine doesn’t stay perfectly in place, and the hospital originally used these pads for him — they’re super absorbent, large enough to cover the area he needs, and they keep everything dry without bunching or leaking. My mom had been trying to track down the exact ones because the rehab center and hospital charge so much more for the same product, and these match the quality perfectly. They’re soft, durable, and genuinely feel like the same medical‑grade pads he was given during recovery. Finding them online has been a lifesaver because they’re significantly more affordable here compared to medical facilities. The 30" x 36" size is great for full coverage, and they really do absorb way more than standard chucks pads — the “10 times more absorbent” claim actually feels true in real use. For anyone caring for an adult or elderly family member with incontinence needs, these are reliable, comfortable, and worth keeping stocked. Solid 5/5 for quality, comfort, and value.

Very absorbent! I’m not speaking for someone else. I can personally say that these pads are wonderful if you have bladder issues. I’ve used other types of pads and these are less irritating and keep a person, and their furniture, drier than any I have used in the past.

Many an elderly pet gets euthanized for incontinence, even though they're otherwise healthy. That's not a risk for my own 20yo cat, because as long as she's happy, purring, and in no pain, I'll deal with the urine, with or without these pads. But I get it; trying conduct life outside the home when you smell like a crazy cat-hoarder is a problem. Even the best pee-pads for animals can't control the odor -- doesn't matter if they're scented or lined with activated charcoal or baking soda or that NASA stuff they put on odor-removing air filters. Not when the incontinence happens during sleep and the pet's fur gets soaked in urine. My little elderkitten is functioning well, touch wood, but she's very thin due to age-related muscle wasting that also makes her lose bladder control when asleep. She's healthy but fragile, and I don't like to bathe her unless it's dire (she could get chilled and sick very easily). And with asthma in the house, scented products are verboten even if they did work. Oy, the STENCH of her pee-fur. It was queasy-making, especially after she marinated on a wet piddle-pad on her heated bed (which was most of every day). And it transferred to the carpet, the furniture, clothing, anything she touched. I'm relating all of this so you'll know just how gross and unsanitary it was. The final straw came when someone refused a ride in my car because she couldn't go back to work smelling of cats. I went on Reddit to see what nurses recommended, and read about Ultrasorbs. The cost made me feel faint, but I was in a situation. And what the hell, I'd already spent a small fortune on ordinary pads; I figured at least these were big enough to cut in half. The pics are of her majesty. In the relevant photo, she's snoozing on the first Ultrasorbs I put on her bed a couple of months ago. (Having just had a back-end bath-and-blow-dry, she was too crabby to let me arrange the pad. She was on it before it was fully unfolded, and what queenie wants, queenie gets.) Not an hour later, she peed in her sleep. I waited for the stink of toasted urine to arise . . . but there was nothing. And I do mean nothing. As advertised, the polymer soaks it all up and the top layer keeps the moisture inside. Dry to the touch, literally. Medicare, please please cover these when it's my turn to need them. The REALLY amazing part is the fact that the pad actually deodorizes her fur. If she gets soaked while napping elsewhere, sleeping smelly-side-down on an Ultrasorbs pad knocks out the odor, even if I don't get a chance to clean her up first. Someone who doesn't live with her every day could probably tell a difference between "deodorized by the pad" and "deodorized by a butt-bath," but I sure can't. Anyway. The length of this review is directly proportional to how much I love these pads. If you've made it this far, thank you for listening to my TED talk.

These pads are more expensive than the standard underpad/puppy pad on Amazon. But if you need a product that will absorb a lot of moisture, this is a lifesaver! If you're just worried about a small amount of dripping or leaking or wetting, go ahead and get a cheap pad. But if you need to protect a bed, chair, or floor from a possible cup or two of fluid, not just a few spoonsful, that amount of liquid will run off the sides of other large underpads, which can't absorb so much fluid. But this thick pad can. That can mean the difference between a chair that is never the same, and one kept clean. And that will save you a lot of money in the long run, as well as making cleanups much easier.

Unfortunately, an elderly parent needs these and we tried the plastic lined which don't work because they slide and are uncomfortable the user. These feel soft and are more like heavy cotton backing which does not slide as much and works great. Much more comfortable for the user. Very absorbent and they do not leak. Very thick material, but comfortable. Easy to use.

Edit.. disappointed with the most recent delivery. The bag it comes I. Was slashed and partially ripped. I ripped it a lil more to be able to count them all. They were all there but still gives me the creeps that these were opened and than had another clear bag wrapped around it. So obviously someone shipped this knowing it was ripped and shipped anyway rather than sending a different pack. Have bought these several times and will continue to buy. We tried reusable ones but they made him very hot and itchy. They do wrinkle up under you but I don't see how that's avoidable if you are mostly bed bound and mobility is limited. These are more for just in case and ease of mind for us. So they haven't gotten soaked. A bag has leaked on one before and it didn't seep through so I think they would hold a bit of liquid without leaking.

I am so happy to have found this product for my relative. She was not managing well at all with the transition between frequent accidents and complete incontinence. These are highly effective and closest to hospital-grade as they can be. Buy in bulk for savings, but don’t skip these. They make everyone’s life easier and that’s worth the extra cost imo.

I have read some reviews on this product saying that they leak through and do not absorb well, so I was compelled to write this review since my experience and apparently a lot of other folks have had quite positive results. I can only think they were reviewing the wrong product or putting the pads on upside down. I just finished purchasing this product for the 5th time and we have not had one leak through yet. While I agree these are a bit pricey, you definitely get what you pay for. We use these to cover the bed, the seat of my wheelchair, any furniture that I sit on, and in the car. We buy the 30 x 36 pads and cut them down as needed for furniture and my wheelchair. They go full size on the bed. We even put them down on the floor for our pets during severe weather (hurricanes) so they have a place to release when they can't go outside. Even then we have yet to see a leak. I will continue to buy these and recommend them highly.

Buen producto ya que proteje bien la cama de posible incontinencia.

I'm using this for the first time, they are strong and they do hold the pee to and extent I guess for my mom. They seem like the ones in ICU . I like the length but I like to know how many per package again just like the first time I ordered, you don't want to keep someone to wet or people get sores. This work amazing for me besides the medline super absorbent, I have tried the smaller ones and that's not to bad, they are not as strong as the ones in the hospital. But again I recommend this product, Amazon needs to give better deals

My son is bed ridden and wears adult diapers, I put this under him, which I can use it to push him up the bed, and if he pees through the diaper the comfort glides are extremely absorbent. Highly recommended

This is a great and reliable product that I’ll buy again.

Nice
