It'll be great, eventually. (UPDATE!)
This was really easy to assemble, and once set up, it feels pretty stable. Both of my toddlers seemed comfortable climbing up on their own...until they sat down. The seat is too big for them (they're about 33 months). Their little butts get sucked in and they can't sit comfortably. I think it'll be great when they're bigger, but we can't use it for actual potty training because it doesn’t encourage them to get on the toilet.UPDATE: love this thing! At about a month past 3 we really went after potty training. We mostly just left this set up with the door open and the boys could easily get on and off to do their business. It’s really sturdy and easy to move. In fact, one is my boys often took it off and on according to his whims.I personally loved it for poop training! I’d put a phone book on the step so their feet were solidly planted and paint their nails while they sat. It was comfortable for them, encouraged them to sit long enough for nature to take its course AND sped things along because they’d lean forward to watch me paint their nails. Awesome. My only issue was that at the time we had a small bathroom so it was a bit of a space hog. Totally worth it though.

Good potty seat, some issues
Good, pretty sturdy. My 2 year old climbed right up on it. When I first opened it I was a little unsure. The seat cushion seems to be attached with a few pieces of Velcro but I could take the cushion off with both pieces of Velcro still attached to the cushion. The rings around the handles seem to need a little click into place every now and then. When my 2 year old sits and pees it tends to leak through the space between the seat and the toilet.Edit: 4/16/19 - We've been using this and my son really likes it, but he was peeing the other day and I realized the pee was running right out between the bottom of this seat and the toilet. I thought I'd look again at the page for the seat to see if there was something I'm not doing correctly. As I am looking at the pictures I realize that the seat is shown as being on the toilet, not the toilet seat. I had been putting it on the toilet seat as it seemed like most little travel seats going on top of the seat. I will try it. The seat is a little big for him. He tends to sink down in the back part of the potty which looks uncomfortable and sometimes causes him to pee right on up and over and out of the potty.

Finally my almost 4 year old pooped in the potty
I am so happy to say that finally my almost 4 year old daughter is pooping in the potty. We tried to poop train her since she was 2.7 years old, peeing was sorted in 3 days but pooping was a whole different story!! She asked for a diaper to poop and WILL NOT poop in potty. I got her the Infant potty chair but she was too big for it. Finally I took a chance and ordered it hoping this would be my last resort and it worked.Pros:1. Potty seat is sturdy and the kid will not fall even if he-she stands on the step2. Kid can independently climb3. Potty seat has cushion which takes care the kids tush’s are not hurt4. Handles helps the kid to climb and are a good distraction while they are sitting on it5. The potty seat is overall easy to assemble and takes hardly any time.6. The step is high enough for them to squat while sitting to poop which is what my daughter liked and makes her poopI love this innovation and I would highly recommend this to kids who are scared of big potty or are facing issues in pooping in the potty. My daughter who had never pooped in the potty is being pooping since two weeks now. I waited to write the review as I wanted to know the real worth of this product after using it for a few days. The only Con that I could think of is that it takes space in the bathroom but the benefits that it has over rides the con. Again if you are facing issues with poop training your kid, look no further and get this !!

Good idea, but not great fit on toilet
So this is super for our 2.5yo who we'll begin potty training shortly. Wanted to give him something so that he can learn to do the potty time himself. While the idea is great for this, I think the design would be better if the dimension from front to back was a little less long, and there was a front guard that protruded down into the toilet more. Pee tends to collect between the potty seat and the toilet base, so it is kind of gross. But, I think we'll use it since it is helpful in getting the kiddo to have a safe seat.

My 2 yr old son loves it!
My 2 year old took to it within a week and is doing great! We had a regular toilet cover but he never felt sturdy and was nervous to use it. But with this, the handles and step are so nice and offer much more stability and safety.Easy to assemble and clean. For it to fit, it does require me to take the actual toilet seat off.

Not stable for little ones
Very wobbly. My fully trained 2 year old who climbs all kinds of things was very anxious combing these two stairs because it slides off the toilet and the feet lift off the floor of they are sitting and pull the handles. We kept for a week and returned because she refused to use it 😓😓 it at just be the design as a whole Idk. But for now we are back to mommy running her to the potty every time she needs to go with a potty seat insert

Love it !
This is wonderful in that my little guy had been potty trained for several months but was afraid to sit on the big toilet. He now climbs up on his own and feels secure with having the handles to hold on to. Small potty is history now ! He can even place it on the toilet all by himself. Game changer for me. Win win !!

As pictured, but not great quality
Product okay, it is not rated highly because it slides, with little grip. My toddler is sometimes hesitant to use because it has slipped a few times on him, once it flipped up off floor. It would get a better rating if there were some sort of clip or something to hold the potty seat closer to the front of the bowl (slides back to far), if the feet were heavier (helping it from jumping off floor when child leans to far forward), and if it had better grip on floor/bowl.
