Pros:1. Silicone - no flavor transfer2. Dishwasher safe (except for one - see pic). But I’ve been washing these straws top rack dishwasher for 6 months and other than 1 they’ve been fine - cleaned up well and held up well. Basically we rinse them out after use then poop them on top rack dishwasher divider and wash as usual.3. Large enough diameter for smoothies and just make note these straws are longer than your average which we wanted but others may want a shorter version.4. I use with cold drinks in my large yeti and they compress easily for the straw outlet with yeti lidCons:1. Just one - for some reason one straw came out of dishwasher with a burn hole/tear. The other three straws right next to it on top rack we’re fine as usual - maybe just a fluke. I’d still recommend as other straws are good as new.

I have the next size down and they are wonderful. Having had shoulder surgery last year, I learned that there are times when you NEED a straw. Especially one that can easily bend without crimping. Silicone straws are wonderful. And, I don't need to visualize sea turtles with snouts filled with straws as I drink. The advert said they are larger. The reviewers said they are big. Why didn't I listen? I liked the number offered and the pretty colors. I shared them with my DIL and she loves them for smoothies. Me? It surprised my how wide my mouth opens automatically to receive a straw so the result is that with each sip, I am aware of how big the straw is. Serves me right. Nothing wrong with the straws when you need to suck up more. But I'm going back to a more normal width.

My husband and daughter drink out of those large stainless cups. They needed straws that were long enough. They LOVE these straws, and because they are so big, they are drinking more water than ever. That's always a good thing!

One item of note, the diameter is larger than a standard straw. While this aids in the cleaning and rapid consumption, you might also suck a little air.

So these straws are fairly large and long, however not as good as silicone straws I’ve purchase previously from another brand. They are much thinner and so collapse sometimes whilst drinking smoothies. And stirring is also affected as they lack the rigidity. I wouldn’t purchase these straws again but would spend some extra dollars to get the good quality ones.

I stopped using plastic straws in order to reduce the amount of plastic garbage that we produce, but my daughters love straws! So we looked together for a solution. We found this great product, girls chose the colours they wanted and we ordered it. It arrived quicker than we thought! I have to say that we are very happy with it. The straws are wider than the regular plastic disposables, and it makes them usable for yogurts too, girls love it! They are very easy to clean and they are beautiful!!! I recommend this product to replace the plastic straws that pollute the ocean and the planet!

With all of the push toward paper straws now , i decided to give these straws a try to use with my disintegrating tervis tumblers..... OMG - these are the best straws ever - completely durable, easy to use, fit with tervis, and lasts forever! So happy i tried these, could not be happier!
