Works great!
I am a long time hardcore user of Corrosion X products so no surprise this worked great. I used it to cover exposed metal on a machine I was transporting, it rained for two day the machine was partially tarped but still got wet while being loaded. The machine then sat like that for about a week and not a drop of rust. I used the whole can and the stuff was still wet and stuck when I finally moved the machine. In the past I have used other formulas with wax they work great but are hard to clean, not the issue with this.

Amazing product
This stuff is awesome. Every 2 years I get my plane fogged with corrosion-x at annual, but I didn't know they made different solutions and aerosol cans! I just bought a truck that was originally built for Canada. No visible rust on the frame or anything yet, but I'm not trying to wait around for it to start. It's not an old truck, but the e-coat process that manufacturers use now doesn't protect diddly squat. I coated my entire frame, chassis, and basically anything metal on the underside of my truck. I used a latex glove to smear it around because if you don't you'll just waste a bunch trying to coat every surface completely. It lays on thick, so be sure to rub it around. If you don't it'll look orange and foamy. Anyway, I'll be using this stuff religiously, as well as other solutions they offer for different applications. If a company is highly regarded in the general aviation industry, you'll be safe with their products. Trust me

Salt Water Must-Have
Corrosion-X is highly effective as a rust repair and protective agent and is required when you live or work on the salt water. It works by halting the oxidation process and providing a durable layer of protection. It lasts a long time, is easy to apply and doesn't require heavy sanding or prep work. It is a must-have for the maintenance and repair of rust-prone equipment. The only down side is it's sticky and will stain any clothing items it touches so be mindful of where you've sprayed it. Otherwise, it's our go-to for work on the water. This is our 5th purchase.

Long term care
Used on marine motor and trailer bed, springs, lugs, it does the heavy lifting. 100% protection. Great long term care.

HD is really thick.
Working on my car i noticed rust at alot of areas so decided to at least try to stop it. Came across CorrosionX and saw that the HD is the thickest stuff so it should stay on the longest and not get washed off.Well it really is some thick stuff. Sprays on thick with alot of bubbles. It does seem like over time the bubbles settle out. I sprayed it all over a new transmission pan i installed due to the original one rusting so bad. I also sprayed all over the cars subframe. Also sprayed down the inside of my snowblower transmission.Depending on how this stuff lasts over the winter I think next time I will try the XD version instead. The HD can is only 12 oz and its so thick I didnt seem to get alot of coverage from each can. I would use this stuff alot more if it wasnt so expensive. I cant even get it locally easily so it gets expensive ordering this stuff.
