Padlette vs TFY, pros and cons for daily/constant use iPad Pro 11 users
For a busy medical professional who uses an iPad Pro 11 constantly in a medical practice, when it comes to holding your iPad securely there are only 2 products that I would recommend. This one, the Padlette D3 or the TFY Security Hand Strap (also sold on Amazon). See Pros and Cons of both below. Neither is perfect, and both could use further enhancements, but for a secure way hold your iPad, you can’t go wrong with either of these.Padlette Pros: Like the TFY product it is secure, and if applied properly it will not slip out of my hand. It is less likely to destroy iPad case corners as fast as the TFY, but when it does, it does it more slowly and less likely to harm the iPad as it is a rubber band. Cons: Padlette covers part of the iPad screen on the two corners it is applied to. Furthermore, it puckers up so the iPad won’t lay flat when you initially set it down on a flat surface (unlike TFY which lays perfectly flat), unless you force the band to flatten out, even then the iPad still rocks back and forth. (Padlette when you fix these issues please also send me a sample to try it out.)TFY Pros: What I love about the TFY product is that it hugs right against the iPad, it is secure, and you can adjust the metal corners as needed. As long as it is placed properly, it will not fall out of my hand. TFY Cons: The metal corner hooks destroyed my otterbox symmetry 360 case corners. (My suggestion to TFY, would be to make a corner piece application that is leather or rubber band-like to prevent this destruction—when you do it, please send me a sample to try it out)

My favorite iPad accessory
When I started looking for something to help me hold on to my iPad for public speaking, I wasn't finding what I wanted: a cheap solution to keep my hands from wearing out. My first reaction to this Padlette was that it was overpriced. I still think it's a little pricy for what it is, but at the same time, it works well despite its simplicity and I don't regret spending the money at all.I use this Padlette with and without a leather case on my iPad and it works well with both. It actually works better with the leather case on because the part of the silicon that wraps on the front side doesn't come as far down from the corner. When I started using the Padlette I experimented with running it from the top left to the bottom right and vice versa. For me, being a right-handed gesturer, I run it from the top left to the bottom right (when looking at the front of the iPad). Without the leather cover on, this can sometimes cause trouble depending on the app if there is a control button in the top left corner of the app. With the leather on, it doesn't cover as much of the screen on the corner and it is less of an issue. This straps on quickly and holds tightly. I can put it over my hand and it stays in place very well. I use it at least once a week and I've never had it come off, nor have I ever dropped it. It's nice to slip it back off and carry it around without taking up a lot of space. It took some getting used to, but after I got used to the feel and learned to trust that it will stay in place I don't even think about it anymore. I am very glad that I found the Padlette and if it ever breaks I will certainly replace it. Fortunately, after a year, there is absolutely no wear showing on it at all.

Padlette in Black
This is such a great product!I currently have a Zagg Folio case/keyboard combo with my Ipad 3. I like to take the Ipad out and physically like to hold the tablet independently from the case and keyboard, but at times holding the tablet alone makes me worried and I start to think I'm going to drop it. Not anymore!I'd rather pay a total of $40.00 to have two of these versus paying a higher price for a different tablet holder. Simply, I looks like a giant silicone rubber band. But this rubber band makes holding the tablet that much easier and safer verusus "just holding it" with your hands. This simple design of the Padlette has two ends hook around the edges of the tablet with the middle area accesible for your hand and fingers to manually adjust to either a landscape or portrait holding position of your Ipad. This just depends on how you position your fingers and hands. I've been able to basically "palm" the back of my Ipad with my fingers and hand with the assistance of the Padlette and without worrying that my Ipad is going to fall on the floor. Similarly, while you find the right position with your hands and fingers, the tablet also can rest securely against the inside of your forearm and wrist area is you're standing/sitting while your other hand is using a stylus. Bottom line... feels secure and safe.Another thing I'm noticing also is when I'm putting my tablet down either glass face down or on its back, the silicone is acting as a buffer so that it won't scratch against a hard surface.Oh, cool thing about this also is that having this doesn't take too much room as an added piece of equipment per se. I just fold this silicone band up and put it in my back pocket.

I have the padlette for a 7" tablet that is a much better fit and I really like it
This works on my Samsung 10.1" tablet, but is a little tight so it becomes uncomfortable for extended use. I have the padlette for a 7" tablet that is a much better fit and I really like it.
