I've bought many flatware sets that simply don't work! You put them on the edge of your plate, and they fall to the floor en route to the kitchen. These are very well-balanced and look fabulous on the table. We bought these after using them in a lovely AirBnB rental. We love the modern look of the black finish. The finish can wear around the edges, but not as badly as other reviewers indicate. Perhaps it is because we don't have a dishwasher! We wash them by hand. One downside is guests have mistakenly thrown them away because they are accustomed to seeing the black plasticware we use for large parties. I bought an extra setting when these were on sale to complete my set. The price is high compared to other flatware, but the quality is excellent.

Simple, attractive, classic and has a nice weight

These are absolutely beautiful! When I was out shopping this weekend, I saw a gorgeous set at a high end store. I didn’t want to spend that much and was delighted to find a comparable set on Amazon! They are a good weight and stunning. I’m super excited to set my Thanksgiving table with them this year!

I bought 8 sets of this flatware about 8 years ago and absolutely loved them. I just bout 4 more sets here on Amazon, but they are noticeably different than my original sets. 1. The tiny square stamped logo is missing from the new ones (I like the stamped logo). 2. The brushed finish is cloudier than my original set (much more matte). 3. The tines on the forks are noticeably thinner than my original set and flex when pressure is applied to them (my original set is much more sturdy). 4. I even compared the weights of each piece of my original set and the new sets on a digital gram scale, and the new set pieces are all about 10% lighter than the original pieces. These differences were enough to make me question if I had been shipped a cheap Chinese knockoff version of the originals. If they are actually genuine Fortessa Arezzo flatware, they have obviously cut corners in quality to maximize profits. Very unhappy with these new pieces.

I have a similar set for four, almost identical that I purchased at a discount store decades ago. I couple pieces disappeared and I needed at least service for four. They match, but a few pieces were scratched due to poor packaging. Not a big deal, I am not nit-picky. They work, they have a nice feel, heavy and sleek. One star off for scratched dinner forks. Great value.

Yes, easy to hold, strong, pretty. But each pice has to be buffed because of finger prints.

These utensils are high quality and set a very nice table for everyday and guests. I initially ordered the brushed finish but then switched to the shiny - soooooo much better! Super nice Arezzo from Fortessa. I ordered enough for 8 settings and of these only 2 pieces were slightly marred. Amazon quickly arranged for Fortessa to replace them. All happy here!

Step up your serving game with this brushed gold serving set! I found it at a WIlliams-Sonoma, and it was around $60 and this is the exact same set, name for name! Bought it as fast as I could and when I received the set, it was exactly as described! This would make a great bridal, hostess, or new home gift!

I bought this flatware set when my current black coated handle set started peeling. I was ready to pay more this time and was looking for quality pieces that will last and look good even as my tastes change.This is set is classic in design while also being modern with a sleek smooth finish, lovely sheen and crisp lines.The weight of this flatware is comfortable, being neither too light nor too heavy. The small forks and small spoons are a good size for salads and fruits while the full sized spoon is more than adequate for feeding a luscious soup.These are dishwasher safe, which is an absolute must for me. I imagine that the first few weeks they will be careful hand washed for their lifetime - however, I am never full committed to that - just ask my Henkels Cookware and my Shun knives!

Good weight, quality finish.

Used these for a week and they're already scratched with weird dents and I've only hand washed them. Not worth the price. I love the weight and the shape of the flatware but do not get the polished set, its a fingerprint magnet... and you are required to polish them each time after you wash them otherwise they just look like dirty spoons.

So far, so good! After two washes this cutlery still looks like new! This is my third try buying rose gold cutlery. Other high end options had bad smells or peeled. The three things about this cutlery that I don't like -- 1) stamped on front; 2) small fork has asymmetrical cuts on tunes (one is deeper); 3) slightly weird gritty feeling -- not particularly smooth.One of the best reasons to buy? This is NOT made in China!
