eufy Security Motion Sensor E20 Review: Reliable, Easy Setup, and Great for Peace of Mind - This motion sensor has been a great addition to my home security setup. The installation was quick and straightforward, and it connected seamlessly with my existing system without any issues. I really like how compact and low-profile it isโit blends in well and doesnโt stand out. The motion detection is accurate and responsive, and I havenโt had any false alarms so far, even with movement around the house. It picks up motion quickly and sends notifications right away, which gives me extra peace of mind, especially when Iโm not home. Another big plus is the battery life. Knowing itโs designed to last a long time means less maintenance and fewer worries about constantly replacing batteries. Overall, this is a dependable and well-designed sensor that does exactly what itโs supposed to. Definitely a solid addition if youโre looking to expand your home security setup. Review: A great add-on for anyone currently using Eufy products that want to expand their security. - As someone who uses Eufy for most of their home security needs this motion sensor has worked great! And it's claim to be pet-friendly is actually true unlike many others out there. Our doggo stays in the living room most of the time and in the last 2 weeks of use she has not triggered it a single time. Installation was a breeze and comes with all the hardware you need to mount it. I mounted ours in a corner and the bracket that the sensor attaches to came with pre cut circles you can punch out that allow you to easily attach it to each wall in a corner. This also helped with it being level and went up without issue. Took maybe 5 minutes tops to get it installed and connected to my phone. It also supports the Eufy homebase 3 which it easily attached to without issue. You can even setup automations so when it senses movement you can have your camera point in that direction. It's pretty cool. Sound quality wise it doesn't make any sounds except when you're doing the setup process. The size is great, nothing too noticeable and doesn't make any crazy flashing lights or anything like that which is nice. The price is very reasonable for what you get and how well and accurately it works. All in all I highly recommend this to anyone that already has some Eufy products in their setup and especially if you have a compatible homebase to connect it to.

Sensor is very responsive, reliable
The sensor itself is excellent, with a hefty battery that will likely last the two years they advertise. It readily detects motion directly ahead, so you can aim it directly at an entrance door, for example, and an intruder will trigger it instanly from across a normal sized living room (15-20ft), and likely farther. It will wait 60 seconds between notifications, which is a very useful feature; you don't have to be worried that you will be blasted with a hundred notifications from one actual event. This must be used with the greater Eufy security system, and I have docked one star due to its current somewhat clumsy interface. The app is not as intuitive as it could be. For example, The use the word, 'Device' to describe both the homebase and the sensors. In the app it indicates you can create various groups of 'devices,' which one would normally interpret to mean sensors. But in that instance, 'device' means just the homebase. I hope they will change this going forward. Currently, you can create custom modes for setting the alarm. This allows you to create a mode to say trigger only entry sensors (doors and windows) and ignore motion (I don't want the alarm to sound when I grab a midnight snack). This is a very handy feature, but to use it you have to go down the list of a dozen or more (24 in my case) sensors and check each one that should trigger the alarm. If you could group them, you could create many modes very quickly. I have yet to see the use in buying multiple homebases and then grouping them??? I suspect it is a bug in the app that their phone assistance won't admit. I hope so, and I hope they fix it. I will say, their AI assistant, Jessica, is damn good. Example: "Wait a sec- I can't see the serial number because there is not enough light." Jessica: "No problem, as soon as you get enough light to read the serial number, I'll be here- no hurry." Also, I can start the conversation stating everything I did to troubleshoot before calling, and 'she' doesn't miss anything, she acknowledges that it is helpful narrowing down the issue, and surely enough, nothing she says subsequently suggests she is faking it- she got it! This system has excellent flexibility in letting you set things up, the range between sensors, sirens, and homebase is much better than I expected. Once they work out the early kinks, I think this will be an excellent security system.

eufy Motion Sensor E20 for Home Security Systems
This motion sensor is designed to integrate into home security setups while reducing false alarms from pets or small movements. The unit is compact and lightweight, and installation is straightforward using either adhesive mounting or screws depending on the location. The design allows it to blend into corners or walls without drawing attention. I installed it in a hallway that connects several rooms where motion detection is useful for security monitoring. The sensor quickly detected human movement while ignoring the smaller movements from a household pet passing through the area. Once connected to the system it provided reliable alerts without unnecessary triggers. Battery life is expected to last for years, which is helpful for devices that are often mounted out of the way. Overall it is a practical upgrade for anyone expanding a home security system. The sensor is responsive, easy to install, and designed to reduce the types of false alarms that can make motion sensors frustrating.

Great little sensor!
I'm so glad Eufy added this to their product line, works really good, very easy set up! Nice and small and fits anywhere! However, the fact that I cannot turn it off when I like is a problem. All day I get notifications that I have triggered the motion sensor. If Eufy adds a button to turn it off and on when you like, it'll be a 5 start sensor. I really hope it's in the works. I love Eufy, and have a LOT of their stuff.
