**Q: can i use this as an alternative to the WALRUS CANVAS mono? Can the thru be used as a second input, summing both to the XLR out ?**

A: 1/4” cord from bass/pedalboard -> DI -> XLR (mic) cable to snake. If it’s a passive bass, you might want to look into the SB-1 active instead of the SB-2 passive.
