Linksys E900 Wireless-N300 Router

Cisco Linksys - One of the most reliable brand of routers. They are a bit on the higher cost but they deliver one of the best performance. The router specs are as mentioned in the section above. It give a good Wi-Fi coverage its good for a small office and a home network. You can go for more detailed configuration in the router access page and it has ipv6 capability ! I would definitely recommend this to people who want a quick and easy setup of a broadband router.Please note as the name suggests its a broadband router and cant be used to connect to ADSL broadband.

Fairly decent for it's price. It's been working well for the past 8 months. The firmware is very poor and rather annoying. However, the customer care is very good so they can probably help you with setting it up if you run into some hurdles. It's compatible with custom firmware (Tomato Shibby) but I've not yet tried an install. Range is decent but there is a considerable amount of signal attenuation through walls. And finally, looks nice and very lightweight although the indicator LEDs are on the back panel hence not easily visible. Pardon the poor grammar and editing. This is for you if you know a little about routers and if you don't want to spend much.

I was using Belkin wireless G router before and it got crashed before a week, than I search about all the routers in Google among top 5 best I found linksys as a best wifi router...now when I receive the order thing was well packed, delivery was on time , and I started using this router since 3-4 days and it works absolutely fine in my 3bhk flat ...if you expect to have full range of signal in your toilet than I think friends it won't be able to satisfy you, I placed router in center of my house and I'm getting good coverage .... over all its a best prodict, its look very sleek and slim designed very nively..without antenna it look very nice rather than other antenna routers...so friends go for it..

I have just bought it. The delivery was very late ( more than 1 week late than the expected date displayed on webpage ). That may be due to a huge orders on Diwali offered items. It is working good. The set up was not much complicated. Though, there are a lot of things to set up and I have done only the basic settings for wireless and local internet provider's connection ( no DHCP, with private static IP ). I wish the power cord is a bit longer. I access the internet through wireless and sometimes sit beyond couple of cement walls. Still, it provides satisfactory speed. I am happy with this low price but very good product from Cisco.

I got this router a few months ago, I've been using and have always preferred to use LINKSYS routers because of their reliability and ease of use.I recently found out that none of the 2 Linksys Routers that i currently have, are able to correctly use Static Routing, where in access to Google DNS is blocked for usage of Netflix in India on streaming devices such as Roku.Roku has hardcoded Google DNS into its firmware, and even if you have subscribed to paid DNS like Unlocator or other similar services, for using Roku with your router, you need to block Google DNS from your router, which this router just cannot do although it DOES have this feature!So i got an Asus Router recently, and was able to correctly configure Static Routing for using Netflix on Roku! :)Stay away from this router if you plan to use Roku/other Straming services and plan to access Netflix from it!It's a good router otherwise, but i would expect ALL features that any router DOES OFFER, to work correctly!

This Cisco Linksys E900 wireless-N300 Wi-Fi Router is definitely not one of the famed Cisco's top-of-the-line stuff. For the price, it's just below the line. It misses out on some crucial settings (e.g. you can't change the lease renew time) and sometimes, response times (especially for new connects) is quite sluggish. Overall, it does the job, just okay, and like others who have commented similarly, wireless coverage — especially within an apartment — is not that terrific, with high speed droops even through glass windows at distances of just about 12-15 feet. That was surely not expected from a Cisco product.But yes, it does look 'sleek' and modern, and it would have also helped if the status lights were at the front or top instead of the rear. Within the same room, however, it works excellently (apart from the initial sluggishness).

This router was my first ever router which I have got... firstly the setup was easy (if u are aware of certain details of ur network) it's speed is nice because of it's dual bandwidth feature...but what lacks is its range though I would not say its range to be worst.. but at the end of the house it's range is not that one expects from such brand...I bought this product mainly because of one feature which I liked a lot that if u keep this router running for 24 hrs still it doesn't get heated up and doesn't affect its functioning.... which is a big problem in some Chinese routers.... I have kept that router switched on for last 15 days without break and still if u touch it its not hot... seriously it's just that normal when I received in the pack...so if u want a good router go for it ..don't think it's range is bad ... But In my case I expected it to be more ;-)... A good router at such low price from such a brand is rare so just go for it..
