We have a guinea pig. He is constantly running up and down the ramp. He sometimes will try and chew on it when the gate is closed and he can't get to the other side. There has been no issues. We bought this one strictly as a backup so when one has been thrown in with his load of blankets, we always have 1 clean one available.

My better half ordered those black panels that are basically one foot wide and foot and a half high. In a 2x4 fashion this thing fits perfectly. We're still waiting for the various pads to come in but even this temporary bedding is way better than the shredded paper. The pad protects the floor if the washable bedding on top soaks through or a spill happens on the side or corner. It also helps hold the bedding in place so it doesn't slide around when the guinea pigs run around.

Perfect for for the Midwest cage ramps as advertised. The cover has folded over ends on each side to keep it secure on the ramp wires. My young guinea pig gets the zoomies and practically flies over the ramps between the two cages in excitement. His elderly neighbor just watches "the kid" race around. Get two Midwest cages and connect them with this sturdy, easy to clean ramp cover and you will have happy piggies!

My guinea pig is honestly a menace, so I've purchased a lot of enclosures for her. This is the only one she has not been able to claw through and I absolutely love it. She chews and digs/scratches everywhere and every chance she gets even though she has PLENTY of toys/hay/food to keep her occupied. I can hear her clawing at this and there's not even a tear. 10/10 absolutely recommend!
