Works for kayak, converts eBike 48v battery to 12v for trolling motor
The specifications are good, and it works well in my application. I have a 48v ebike battery, then this device converts to 12 v, then a 12v PWM speed controller, finally connecting to the trolling motor. The seller says not to directly connect it up to a solar panel, so I couldn't resist and did (48volts max). It still works great without the battery at all ! But it does require you to reduce via PWM the load (ie., speed) of the motor if a cloud comes over or the motor stops (due to MPPT solar output voltage not correct). Stronger than expected unit.

Hey hey, all good!
Simple to hook up on my golf cart. Got the 30a version. Nice and small. Mounted with zip ties. Output is plenty for my headlights, tail and radio. Hope it lasts. That’s what matters now. Hope it lasts. Has only been 2 months so far so good. Use relay off the key switch to turn it on/off.....and 10awg wire for input-output.

Works perfect for a Club car Precedent 48volt
Easy hookup on my 2015 Club Car Precedent 48V. I used it to reducer 48V to 12V for a Cell Phone USB connection port. Super easy way to reduce for adding acc to your golf cart.

So far working good .

Works great
Use on a golf cart for lights. Works great for that. Slight spark when powering the capacitors when first connected manually by touching wires together. When put on a switch.. no problems.

golf cart light source
This is a nice converter for a golf cart which survives in a terrible environment. I love the completely sealed unit. Note that the surge current on start up is high and will eat switches that turn it on and off. The double ground is a waste since the input and output grounds are the same. What is nice is that you can forget about fuses on the 12 volt side and only an in series supplied fuse on the input is needed for saftey.

A lot for a little
Used this to supe-up to a 48v Club Car OnWard golf cart. Added bottom LED lights, LED light strips around the roof, and a 24" Bazooka Party Bar. No issues stepping down from 48v to 12v and then supporting all of the 12v accessories being on at the same time or cranking the party bar up for some serious noise. I definitely suggest getting the 20A vs the 10A. The party bar is 7A max and led lights are 3 - 5A max so the 20A plenty of overhead even at max amperage.

The fuse doesn’t help
The fuse doesn’t burn, but the converter was burned.
