Comfortable and sturdy grooming tool
This is a great stripping knife. The wood handle is comfortable and sturdy in your hand. It’s Spring and my four old Golden is blowing her winter coat. This knife grooms the undercoat taking out the dead fur before it gets under all the furniture! I use it twice a week during this time of year with quick short sessions. Lily is getting used to my doing it and stands there until I’m finished. The knife is a great addition to my grooming tools.

I paid for a new one not a used one
The first time I bought this item it was great. I lost it and bought another one and I'm so disappointed. As soon as I opened it it was all dirty idk what that is and I don't want to know. Returning

it works
This knife works, It does a pretty good job. However as another mentioned it would sure be nice if they had made a lot better handle since you will need to use the comb for quite a while at a time if you have a dog with long thick hair. But yes it will thin hair.
