techNtoys WL Toys V912-14 Replacement Main Motor with Wire and Plug for WL Toys V912 RC Helicopter

This motor seems to be wound with heavier wire so it may last a bit longer than original. We shall see 4 flights at 3.5-4 min. each also heat sink on motor helps dissipate excess temperature rise from armature. More importantly to not overheat battery while draining during flight periods. This can ruin motors, board, wiring and battery, heat is the biggest adversary to these motors.

I've ordered several of these from TechNtoys and most lasted about the same.....maybe 2-3 hours total flight time before the brushes go. My last order however..... 1 was fine, but the 2nd didn't last 30 seconds before one of the brush mounts snapped. I'm giving up on these brushed WL lines and going with MJX since they include a throttle port which supports brushless/esc's OR a servo for nitro/gas engines.

Worked as promised. Use Youtube for directions on replacement. Motor replacement went smooth.

I really like the way that this motor performs, it is a little difficult to install.

This set up saves time having to solder the wires on . As far as the motor ware, it is the same as having to add the wires yourself . I gave it 4-stars because the motor still wares at the same rate . Its too bad someone can't find a way to increase its life .

Fast easy to install. A little on the $$$ side but beat waiting for the part to come from China
