Loud
They're expensive... but worth it, I feel. Puts the near-useless, supplied-with-the-colla-type bells to utter shame. MUCH louder. Also, heavy duty/well built. Expect that they'll outlast my cat(s)! I bought one pair of the mid-size bells, thinking to use one-each, on my two cats; but eventually decided that the the younger, 'mighty hunter' version cat (Nacho) needed a full TWO bells. So... bought a pair of the small bells, this time, for him. Surprised to find that the smaller bells are pretty much as loud as the mid-sized ones. Also, little enough difference in tone (surprising, that) that I've never subconsciously/intuitively learned to differentiate between the cats' jinglings of the bells; even after adding the 2nd mid-sized bell back onto the collar of my larger/older cat. So... after considering the cost of the Rabies shot/tag ($15), the collar ($1@, in six-lot/Amazon), the custom, laser-engraved, epoxy paint-filled name tag ($10@/Amazon), and then the pair of bells ($19 per pair, I think it was, here)... I've got about $45 invested in the outfitted collar; per cat! And, sure enough... after about only a week... Nacho returned one evening... W/O his collar! Arrgghh!! But... fortunately, I found it just where I thought it might have been shed, next door; where my cats commonly like to hang out, when outdoors. I think I loosened the collar too much, when I noticed Nacho scratching at it, in apparent annoyance, after having first put it on him (no previous collar experience. No prob/other cat). I think, while scratching vigorously at the collar (behavior directly observed by me), he likely caught his foot in it, yanked in panic... and popped the safety release of the collar. So... considering the investment... I ordered (Amazon, again; of course) some Samsung (to work with my Samsung phone) Galaxy SmartTag Bluetooth locator tags. So now... each collar has an additional (yet!) $20 invested in it! But... in addition to gaining info on my cats' activities (plus other advantages), I can find the durn thing, if either cat manages to 'lose' one, again. Hopefully. :-) :-) Highly recommend these bells, despite the expense.

Loud bells, work as described
Loud bells, dog sounds like one of Santa’s reindeer running around the yard. Easier to locate now, definitely rings out when he’s running. Very helpful and easy to attach with a clip or D ring.

Perfect little bells
Perfect size and sound! Our new puppy is only a little over 4 lbs so I was worried the small size would still be too big. It only took him a few hours to get used to it on his collar and the sound is just loud enough for us to be able to easily find him around the house when he starts to explore without being annoying! It looks classy and so cute on him.

Loud
Bells are loud, attractive and well made but the attachment ring to the collar failed.

Very loud bells
Our adopted cat came with a collar with a small, nearly inaudible bell. We decided to look for a louder bell (or bells) to hopefully provide birds a warning that he was around. Bought the Beau's extra loud bells and replaced the small bell with both of the new bells. They new bells are crazy loud, so much so that we removed one of them and he just has one on his collar. With the old, small bell we left his collar on 24/7 as we could barely hear it and it didn't bother us in the night when he stays inside. With the new bell, we could hear him walking around the house at night and it was waking us up. So now we put the collar on in the morning and remove it at night. If you are looking for a very loud bell(s) for your pet, the Beau's extra loud bells may be just what you are looking for.

Perfect for a mischievous dog.
I bought these to replace a cluster of smaller bells or Chihuahua mix wears. She likes to sneak off and get into trouble. That includes sneaking into the cat litter boxes for "snacks", going potty in other rooms or our master closet, stealing toys from the other dogs, etc. These bells are about the size of a large acorn and they do indeed ring out or rattle quite easily. I was worried it'd be too heavy and she would learn to walk silently, like she did with some other larger ones we once tried, but she can't seem to stay quiet with these. They are definitely well manufactured, should last a long time, and look nice. All I had to do was turn the ring onto her collar and off she went.

Works like a charm!
My young cat killed two red finch and two downy woodpeckers in three days. I was horrified because I feed these birds. In the time frame that he learned to kill a bird and then keep killing I knew I had a huge problem. I bought these in the small size hoping it would solve the problem and so far it has. It’s been two weeks and no more bird attacks. The bells don’t jingle all of the time so it’s not annoying for regular indoor movement. It’s fairly loud when he makes sudden movements or jumps. This works like a charm!!

Great. Big enough to actually make noise on collar. We can now find our cat.

Can find both cats around the yard. It’s great to know where they are even if you can’t see them. Let’s birds know they are near by. Unfortunately, birds take risks and can still get caught. Very loud. Older cat had two but lost one . She has had hers for 3.5 years now. Yes costly but in the long run worth it.

Amazing quality!. We are just actually using one on our cat as the bell is loud enough! The two tone colored, just dresses it up a tad more than your regular Silver bell. Not quite sure that our cat likes it as her bird hunting days havencome to an end. Would highly recommend We ordered the small size for our feline.
