Overall Great Purchase
As some of the serious weight lifters know, most weight benches that have incline capability are usually worthless because the seat typically doesnt angle. When you set the bench for an incline position and the seat remains flat, your butt slides off the bench whenever you put "real weight" on a bar or lifting heavy dumbells.I did a lot of research looking for a remote incline bench that had no attachments or any bells and whistles and actually had complete adjustability. My second priority was cost.... No point in breaking the bank if this is for home use. Here are my pros and cons of this bench from the time i opened the box.Pros:- Very sturdy with solid construction- High capacity capability- Bench is comfortable in all incline positions- With 275 lbs on an incline, there is no lateral movement or squeaks in the bench.- Affordable- Seat is not fixed.Cons:- Upon opening the box, the hardware was not properly secured and was loose in the box. I opened it up and washers and nuts were everywhere and one of the bolts were missing (probably fell through the seam of the box). I had to go to the hardware store to match the bolt. This was an inconvenience.- One of the plastic ends was caved in. I didnt really care about this though. I didnt buy the bench for aesthetic purposes.... but if you care about stickers not being lined up perfectly and chips in the paint, then this may be an issue for you.- There are no floor tabs to lag the unit if you wanted to. Again, i do not care about this feature, but it is considered a con to some people.- You cant raise the bench to a 90 degree incline, so forget doing dumbell presses with back support in your shoulder routine. I was aware of this prior to purchase though. I am yet to find a non-commercial bench that offers this feature.

So far I like it a lot
It's not quite commercial grade, or what I would find in a shabby high school weight room, but I think it's going to do just fine for my home gym. It's definitely got heavy gauge metal for the base, and this thing weighs a lot. It's difficult to move across my carpet which could prove troublesome moving it out of my squat cage, but it's also good meaning it won't slip during bench presses. Apparently in my search, I looked at so many benches that I got confused and didn't realize this one didn't have a decline. That's my mistake, so just beware if that's something that you have to have in your bench... this one doesn't have it. The gap between the back support and lower body support is fairly large, larger than I've ever seen to be exact, but this can be circumvented by moving your back further up the back support. Also, this bench is pretty tall and I cannot rest my feet flat on the floor (I'm 5'6"). We will see if this proves to be problematic. The adjustments for incline are super easy to work! It only took me about 30 minutes to put this thing together and the instructions were fairly easy to figure out. There is some wobble in the extension pieces on both the upper and lower supports. We shall see if this wobble, the gap in the seat and back rest, and the height prove to be a problem for me later. But, I am thoroughly convinced that the heavy gauge metal on the base of this is substantial enough to hold quite a bit of weight... we are not talking 700 lbs but more heavy duty that anything else I saw below the $200 mark on prices. To sum it up so far, I am happy with my purchase.

Solid, but a lame design.
The pins for adjusting the bench have to be unscrewed and screwed in while you’re holding the pads up. Don’t know how you could make it more. inconvenient. Should have done better research. Highly recommend to buy something else.

I would recommend avoiding Valor's bench
Here was my email to Valor regarding the mess that arrived. The response was to offer replacement parts. There is a safety issue with Valor's bench that replacement parts will not fix. You be the judge.I owe a company and I am doing for you what I would hope my customers would do for me. Rather than ranting on social media or posting one star on Amazon I am letting you know about this experience and providing you with the opportunity to recover. The bench was ordered on 1/7 with a guaranteed delivery date of 1/12 (Amazon Prime). The delivery date was important given I was traveling from 1/13 thru 1/19.The delivery arrived on 1/15.See the pictures below. The box clearly came apart during shipping. Two issues. The cardboard you use packing the box is inferior and cannot hold up to the size/weight of the bench. My guess is you know this given the sticker you put on the outside of the box stating “damaged box?” Secondly the strapping appears to be inadequate giving the box opened as well as being crushed. There were a number of issues with the bench.Rust on the fittings on parts 14, 19 and 21.Bent bolts M12 x 85, M12 x 70 and M8 x 70.Bent seat frames 21640030 and 21640040. (See pictures)Missing washers 10300189.Dented part 21640080.Washers 10300187 are too small. The holes in the underside of the pad frames are large and the outer diameter of the washers are not large enough to safely secure the bolts to the frame.Have to tell you I am really not happy. The bent pieces and missing washers was an inconvenience. But more importantly it is a safety issue. I weigh 200 lbs and often use 80 lbs dumbbells. I don’t need to tell you that is a lot of weight on a bench that has been compromised by being bent or damaged.Valor's response was to offer replacement parts. In consideration for the time it took to assemble the bench only to have to take it apart again, nothing. Just replacement parts. My recommendation. Buy your bench from someone else.
