Which weight plates work with this vest?

The vest is designed for GORUCK Curved Ruck Plates. Choose 6.25 lb, 9.25 lb, or 14.25 lb plates to create 14 lb, 20 lb, or 30 lb total loaded configurations, including the weight of the vest.

Which size should I choose — S/M or L/XL?

The front and back panels are the same size. The difference is in the shoulder straps and cummerbund. L/XL is designed to fit most men, while S/M provides a smaller fit and may sit higher on larger frames.

Does the vest stay secure while running or training?

It’s designed to sit snug against the body and keep the plates secure during movement. Adjust the waist straps until the vest feels stable without shifting.

Are the Curved Ruck Plates supposed to fit tightly?

Yes. The plate pockets are intentionally snug. GORUCK notes that some force may be needed to fully seat the plates before securing the Velcro closures.
