Metropolitan Tea Company Canadian Ice Wine Tea (48 teabags)

We are repeat buyers of this Canadian ice wine tea. It's delicious and I'm glad Amazon carries it, as it would be hard to find, if not impossible, in the desert southwest.

Unique essence of wine taste for tea. Like it hot or cold.

I've never had ice wine but i like this ice wine tea. It has a very nice flavor, not as strong as black tea alone, but more body than an herbal

Went to Canada and bought a small box to try. Ended up going to Amazon to purchase more..yup..that good

I don't know why but this flavour of black tea from Metropolitan Tea is more bitter and astringent than all the other ones I've tried. The scent is delicious, it smells like sweet grape wine but tastes like black tea and watered down grape juice. It's not disgusting, just not the best. In order to get the grape taste you have to brew it longer, bit that makes the tea too bitter; if I brew it for a shorter amount of time, the whole tea becomes too weak, but it does make for a nice brisk and light sweet tea. I'm not really into that hence the 3 stars. If you do decide to get this, it's a real good deal, you get 50 bags. The sachets are not individually wrapped, but they are stored in an aluminum bag inside the paper box.

When we were travelling to Iceland, part of our reasonably priced flight included an 8 hour layover in Toronto (YYZ). We took the opportunity to catch a bus from the airport to downtown Toronto and see a few sights including the CN tower. When we arrived back at the airport we had some extra Canadian currency to spend, so I bought a package of Icewine tea which I had never tried before. Upon arriving home I started drinking it and grew to like the flavor. I wish I could describe it but to say that it tastes kind of sweet and flowery isn't really doing it justice. When I ran out I checked Amazon and sure enough they had it, so I ordered more.This box of tea has a foil wrapper that can't be resealed so I put mine in an airtight container after opening it. Flavor is good although if you are making a large cup (greater than 8 oz of water) I'd use two teabags or else the tea is weak in my opinion.

Have reordered repeatedly because of the unique taste. Cannot find them in US and so glad we found them online.
