Excellent value for chain saw product, after initial problem with own power line. The product was easy to assemble although the instruction booklet is too small to read easily. The saw cuts well with little effort.

The saw looks ok apart from the pathetically short power cable. However the second you pull the trigger to cut the chain flies off! Not once might I add. I tried it again more than once presuming it was my error but the tensioner on the chain let's go as soon as it start. And then to return the item thats not fit for use you have to pay postage. Dont waste your money on this item

Good bits - it cuts really well, and isn't terrifying like a petrol chainsaw. I feel quite safe using it. Bad bits - - instructions are pretty poor but functional. - brake lever doesn't do what I expected - it clicks on and off; I was expecting that it would be a dead man's handle kind of affair, i.e. squeeze it and the saw will run, release and it stops, but no, it's basically an awkward switch. - the cable. this is the most ridiculous thing. It's a few inches long. So to use it, you have to have it plugged into an extension cable. Fair enough, but then it's really really awkward to manoeuvre. This, in my opinion, is the worst aspect of the safety of this saw. I will be taking mine apart later and fitting a longer cable.

I bought this chainsaw last year, I find it quite awkward to use due to the extremely short power cord. The chain also loosens quite easily. Not overly impressed.

I didn't want a petrol or cordless chainsaw because I didn't want to be tempted to use it in the wilder reaches of a large garden which would be dangerous. I wanted, for safety's sake, an electric chainsaw specifically to be, effectively, tethered to the terrace where I have an outside power point and a sawing horse with chainsaw holder. My helper, accustomed to a petrol chainsaw, looked scornfully at this one. "Electric?" he said. "That won't be powerful enough for all this wood". Then he started using it and completely changed his tune. He and the chainsaw and a logsplitter turned a pile of logs into a good cubic metre of split firewood in an afternoon and a morning, and it's now sitting seasoning for next winter.

Chain tention adjustment keeps coming loose. This happened when the saw was used for the first time. Gave up after the chain came off for the third time.

I've been waiting for the dry weather to use it, and unfortunately I am now outside my return window, otherwise it would go straight back. It took me ages to put it together and then I had the blade on upside down! Instructions in my case, were not that clear. It has a plastic nipple that slots into the metal blade, so where the blade is lose, you turn the wheel, and this nipple retreats back to tighter the chain..... obviously it gives up, breaks off and leaves the machine useless. On the plus side, it leaks oil everywhere and is really heavy, probably both usually occurrences, but I am new to the game. Probably the worse money I have ever spent.

Absolutely brilliant delivery was super quick it was easy to assemble thank god as I’m only just learning to use chainsaw I’m female so was worried about the weight but it’s really quite light I’ve already been using it to cut wood for the fire is easy to handle and the instruction book is fantastic as it shows you the proper ways to cut trees and logs recommend to anyone especially us novices lol very pleased
