good price, and does what I wanted
This item is intended to be used to mount a round laser sight to the barrel of a rifle or shotgun, but I used it to mount a tactical light to the barrel of an AR 15 to get the light as far forward as possible to eliminate shadows from the barrel and flash guard, I could also position the light to make it easy to hit the tail cap switch while my hand is on my hand guard to activate it. This item worked perfectly for my mid length gas tube and 18" barrel setup using any diameter flash light from 5/8" up to 1-1/8", so in the future if this one dies I'm not stuck using any one size or type of tactical flashlight. I believe this would also work for a 16" barreled rifle with carbine or mid length hand guard.

Great fit, high quality, easy install
Product quality is excellent! Installed on 12 gauge and holds tactical flashlight securely, and fits between feed tune and barrel in all 3 positions; left hand, right hand, or bottom center. The 4 little rubber pads are nice touch to protect the gun surface. I am ordering more!

Attaches to the barrel securely and stays in place. Laser sight is secured and maintains zero point. Unit accommodates small to large barrels and sights. Met my needs completely.
