IF YOU WANT A GREEN LASER YOU SHOULD READ THIS
I have some expensive lasers that are better than this unit but they are 3 times the price. If you want a good, bright, green laser that works in colder weather, look no further. I had several cheaper models of green lasers. The one problem they all had was working in colder weather. I'm not talking -30 or anything like that. I'm talking 55 degrees and they would not work. This one does not seem to experience that problem. In my opinion the unit is a little bulky. It would be nice to see it slightly smaller but for the price and the fact that it works I'll take the bulk. The only real negative I have to discuss at all is that my buddies unit, the remote switch stopped working after maybe 6 outings with it. We're talking maybe the button was pushed 40 times. That is way to premature. I've not had mine to long so my switch is still working. I am basing this review on my personal experience and his experience with the remote switch. The remote switch is a major selling point to me. Without it I would drop my rating to 2 stars. If my switch breaks prematurely I will come back and drop my rating to 2 stars. The switch is a simple on off setup so I am sure an aftermarket switch could be wired into it. I like this laser well enough that if my switch goes bad I would take the time to rig a better switch from another manufacturer to work with it.

Ok for the money.
This green laser is much brighter than the reds and was easily seen in daylight conditions inside my home. Outside it was visible under a partly cloudy summer day out to at least 50 yards. However it was dim and very hard to pickup at the extreme range. Green lasers do not like the cold and it being summer the only way I had to test was to place it in the frig for a few hours. I could tell no difference in brightness after several hours of about 40 degree temperature. The laser and mount are of one piece aluminum and sturdy but the picatinny rail clamp is small and held together by one screw. I do not know how this would hold up under heavy recoil but since this will be used on a 22 this may be of no concern. There is an easily reached push button switch on the very end of the laser as well as a provided remote switch. The remote has a very short cord and would not reach to the trigger area of my rifle and would have to be mounted somewhere on the forearm.Adjustments are made via two allen head screws located under the rubber cover. This cover is easily removable and does provide some protection as to bumping the laser but doubt it provides any additional waterproofing.Overall a fair value for the money if you can purchase in the 80 to 90 dollar range.

STAYS ON ZERO BUT MOUNT SCREW LOOSENS UP.
The sight stayed on zero even after firing over 100 rounds from my AR10 .308. Only thing is mount screw keeps coming loose after about 75 rounds.Just tightened up the mount screw and it stayed on zero. It needs as full size mount on both sides with 2 screws. It has holes for more screws. Tried loctite on threads but that did not help. The price on Amazon is great. The Sportmens Guide has the same exact site for $89.00. Amazon is over 50% off. I have contacted seller but its too soon for response. I will re-rate after I hear from seller.

Very solid quality and easy to use.
Bought this product to replace my red laser sight. Tested, the green laser is much brighter than the red one and even on the daylight itโs very bright. This led me to think if I still need a flashlight or not. There are 3 rail mounting holes on this sight, so itโs easy to be adjusted to mount to my pistol without any additional tool. The switch can also be adjusted to an easy access position. Mounted the sight to my refile with the included remote pressure switch and tested on my backyard. The green laser can cover the whole range of my backyard with a very bright sight. Thinking it might be powered by the CR123A battery. The sight is built on the solid metal and can feel the high quality. The only complain is the windage and elevation adjustment need remove the rubber skin, but itโs just one time job.

Stays sighted in, easily visible at night 1/2 mile
Absolutely amazing. I had a gunsmith make a new longer clamp and add another Weaver style crossbolt, I do not know why the manufacturer does not make the longer clamp and extra bolt, the holes are already in the base of the unit. This is a repeat purchase, the first one I have had for 5-years and is still sighted in and NEVER had to adjust. At night I can easily see for a 1/2 mile. We use it for night wild hog hunts when the herd scatters, you drop your rifle to shoulder height and look over your scope with both eyes open. Tactical people call the 180 degree field of vision "Situational Awareness" we just call it pork in the freezer.

Narrow Accuracy Range
I'm new to using lasers. So, as a result, don't know exactly what to look for when I buy one. After I bought this one, I discovered what is obvious just by looking at the picture and that is that the actual laser light is a long ways away from the body of the weapon (and the barrel). That obviously means that the accuracy, versus distance, is going to be very limited no matter what you do.I bought this laser sight with the idea of mounting it on my Saiga .223. After taking one quick look at the situation, though, I decided to just hang it on the barrel of my home-defense shotgun and forget about my original idea.

A tweak earns 5 stars
Just received my Beamshot GB800M laser from Quarton USA via Amazon and mounted it on my 1911. The laser works perfectly and is incredibly bright. However, due to the recoil of this larger caliber pistol, I needed to add one more "bolt & nut" onto the clamp plate. Michael in Quarton's customer service group was extremely helpful in getting me the extra "bolt & nut" set. The complete setup and customer service are worthy of 5 stars.

THIS PRODUCT NEEDS MINOR IMPROVEMENTS
For the price, I'm somewhat happy with what I received. The remote switch works perfectly, but the manual push-button on mine began to fail after limited use. After pushing the button to turn it on, it takes several attempts to turn it off. Not a big problem, but very irritating... Beamshot also needs to improve the mount...
