I have 2 male cats and this works perfectly for them! They literally stopped using the other ones I have in my house! It’s perfect size for them and I don’t know if it’s because it’s stainless steel but the litter smell has significantly dropped in the room it’s in! It’s crazy how much less of an odor vs the traditional plastic one I had! If I ever need another box I without a doubt getting another one of these! recommend!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Expensive, but so worth it. *by on Reviewed in the United States 1 March 2026* I have a male cat who pees right over the top of every single cat sandbox I've ever had, until this one. I don't know who designs cat sandboxes, but most of them seem to consider 8 inches in height to be large or extra large. Clearly these people who think that's high enough don't have big male cats. I love that this one is stainless steel and not plastic. That alone is great. But for once, the 14 inches high sides are genuinely tall enough to keep litter box contents where they're suppose to stay! I also love that the way the top of this box connects to the bottom guarantees nothing leaks out. If you have big male cats, if you are tired of cleaning up pee outside the box, this is the box for you. The hook on the outside to hold the scooper is a nice bonus. The only thing that would make this better is if it had an alternate style top where the entrance to the box was on the wide side, not the short. My only spot to put it is in a closet, and it's too wide to go in any way but lengthwise, and the current style requires another extra 6-8 inches of room left open for the cats to reach the entrance. Other than that, this litter box is a joy to own. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for bigger adult cats! *by on Reviewed in the United States 6 March 2026* Way better litter box for 2 adult cats weighing 14-16 pounds. They have room to go in, search around, and take care of business. Beforehand, the smaller traditional litter box would be too small for them walk in and see around them. This led to potty on the sides of the box and scratching at the sides of the box to cover their waste. Its also easier to clean since waste does not stick to the bottom and sides like it did in the old plastic box. Love it, and they do too! ## Frequently Bought Together - Stainless Steel Litter Box with Lid, 14” XL Stainless Steel Cat Litter Box Enclosure, Extra Large Metal Cat Box, Non-Sticky, Anti Leakage, Easy Cleaning Litter Pan, Include Scoop - Dr. Elsey's Ultra Unscented Clumping Clay Cat Litter 18 lb Bag --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/789911749-stainless-steel-litter-box-with-lid-20-xl-stainless-steel](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/789911749-stainless-steel-litter-box-with-lid-20-xl-stainless-steel) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-07*
