Pat LaFrieda Pork Rib Chop, Original, .75 lb

Found a worm in the pork chop! I cook and eat meat a lot and I know what a vein or tendon looks like. This was a WORM! I threw up my entire meal. DO NOT BUY!!

I would not feed this to a DOG ON THE STREET, this is what I received, pure disgusting fat. It seems as though the distributors used by amazon pick the WORST groceries by zip code. I have friends that live at different zip codes example Park Slope, Brooklyn Heights and certain parts of PLG order the same exact things I do and they receive much better quality.

The picture listed does not even come close to what these pork chops actually look like when they arrived. I did not even open the package. After reading the reviews, I didn't want to take the chance--especially if they smell like they look! The appearance alone was a big turn-off for me. I did not read the reviews before I ordered.. I should have! Take it from me and all the others who gave these chops a poor review. If I could have given a rating below 1, I would have.

I've just recently started using Amazon Fresh and it IS a great service to use for groceries! But, these chops were terrible. They're vacuum sealed in some slimy, smelly solution and the chops were really mushy. Pork is pretty cheap in my area(Philadelphia) so this wasn't a deal for me at all. We purchased 2 packs (4 chops total) for nearly $10! 4 chops in my grocery stores would be half the price for better quality. I would not buy these again.

I should have listened to the other reviewer hey said these were terrible and smelled These porkchops did smell terrible. I cooked them two days after we receive them and they smelled absolutely awful. I hope we don’t get sick?!

The chops where all gristle and curled up as soon as they hit the grill pan, flavor was not enjoyable.

I bought these because they were Pat LaFrieda Chops but they were covered with band saw residue—the little bits of bone fragment and pieces of meat that resulted from the band saw cutting—meat-dust. There is a tool, a Bone Dust Scraper that butchers use to scrape the meat with (see photo). Surprised that LaFrieda slipped up on quality control. If left on the steak or chop it has a unpleasant taste and quite frankly is disgusting.Amazon sells the bone scrapers. Maybe Pat needs to purchase a few. http://a.co/2IX3Qja

I have bought these pork chops about 15 times and every single time they smelled like rotten eggs. I washed them off, cooked them and ate them and neither I or anyone in my family has gotten sick so I don’t think the meat is actually spoiled. I think it’s just some kind of preservative making it smell maybe.. I decided to read the reviews to see if it was just my nose playing tricks on me after going through chemo my smell is off. I guess it really does smell like that.
