Great egg separator...like that it rests over the edge of your bowl. Cute also!

This cute egg separator is easy to Clean & use my only critique is that the slits/holes are TOO BIG & if you’re not quick enough, the yolk will slide through the slits thus defeating it’s purpose !!! I use jumbo size eggs & it still was a challenge separating the eggs . Ultimately I had to use a strainer underneath the egg separator just to avoid the mishap . I kept it because honestly I couldn’t Return it because the cute egg character on it STOLED my HEART !

The color of the separator is too close of a match with an egg yolk's. Also the whole is a little big for the yolk to come out of too. the bowl clip isn't versatile enough to adapt to different bowl thickness.

I was worried about the negative reviews but decided to give this a chance since Amazon sells it directly and I wanted to avoid a third party seller. Turns out it works perfectly fine for large size eggs. I typically use Whole Foods 365 organic large brown eggs. No yolk breakage at all. Hoping this will help make my baking prep a tad bit easier!

Ok so how often do you need an egg separator? For me, it’s rarely, I’m very space-conscious and I hate clutter. Ths is so small and cute, it cheers me up just looking at it in the utensils drawer, and absolutely indispensable when I need it to do its thing!

This doesn’t actually work that well for separating the yolk from the whites, I’ve had it cause the yolk to tear more than once. Also the hook for hanging off a cup or bowl is too small to be of use.

This is the cutest egg separator, which also happens to be quite functional. My husband and I use egg whites while cooking many meals and grew weary of using a spoon to separate the egg yolks and whites - often resulting in breaking the yolk and making a mess. This tool works as advertised and we love it.

Does a great job separating eggs - the "cup clip" funacitonality makes it even more convenient - especially if you're not a pro at separating eggs/do not frequently separate eggs using more old-school techniques, which can be a pain. Exactly as advertised - great addition to any baker's/cook's/egg lover's kitchen. Very cute.
