I have a WWII era Quonset hut that is partially covered by a roof and partly exposed. The exposed part was getting rough but not rusted through anywhere. I cleaned with a very stiff bristled brush and rinsed with hose and let dry. This stuff covered amazingly. I couldn’t believe how much coverage I got out of this. I ordered 10 gallons and was afraid that might not be enough. I ended up only using about 4 gallons. I even tried to apply it as thick as I could. It fills in and covers pin holes and old screw holes very well. For reference I painted the end 10’ of Quonset hut with 4 gallons. This also works good for dipping tool handles into such as pliers, channel locks, or hammers to put a new rubber coating on them. I wasn’t sure about this product when ordering but I am completely satisfied and can definitely recommend. Worked great for me. It did stop all of my leaks btw. Review: Covers metal really well and is very sticky.
