I've had these for a little over 3 months now and I felt compelled to write a review. These are great little plants. They spread at a reasonable speed. They're very healthy and so far mine have stayed a nice, short (2 2.5 inches or so) grass that's spreading around the tank.I was highly dubious about these when I received them. There were a few I didn't plant because they just didn't look healthy. Having more experience with them now, I'd bet if I had planted them, they'd have come back. Also, they're a little of a pain to plant because they're insanely buoyant. These things float like they have helium in them. If you don't get the root held down snug in the substrate, it's definitely going to float to the surface.I have put these in 3 of my aquariums. I had little luck with the couple I put in a gravel substrate. Don't know if the substrate is the relevant factor, but based on the way they grow, I would think they'd do best in a lighter, looser substrate. I have them in a sand substrate in one tank, and in a volcanic soil substrate in another, and the plants are doing well in both. I've had special success in the volcanic soil substrate. In that tank, I have 2-3 times as many tufts as I started with 3 months ago.Hope this helps!

Zeros stars if it was an option. Revcieved dieing plants and now they are all dead. Waisted of money and time.

Only got 9 plants. The ones I received looked great though…

All showed up alive and in good shape. Planting them in the aquarium was quick and easy and within a week they started sprouting new growth.

Some yellowing/melting during shipping which is to be expected. But overall healthy plants. Packaged well.

I ordered both hornwort and dwarf sagittaria from this seller for my small aquarium.One or both plants had the smallest snail babies somewhere on it. I don't mind, but some might want to watch out.Three orders of sagittaria arrived after a 4-day shipping journy intact. Having been burned by receiving dead plants before, I over-ordered in preparation for the worst. To my plesant surprise, Every Single Plant seemed to be in good condition. On a few individuals the oldest leaves were a little brown; I merely peeled those off and planted the remaining healthy root & leaves.I still had many healthy sprigs left, so I put them in an unfiltered bucket for a couple days along with some extra hornwort. I then planted the remainder in a second small aquarium set up just for the extra plants.Over 2 weeks later, and the plants still seem healthy. It's hard to notice if they've grown much, but I had no melting or dieoff that wasn't caused by my own clumsiness during initial planting. My mystery snails seem to enjoy gliding along the delicate leaves and dangling on the ends as they snack on algea.
