As soon as they arrived, I washed them in two separate loads, along with other laundry - used cold setting, which isn’t really all that cold in this part of the country, it’s almost warm. Anyway, the colors did not seem to bleed onto my other laundry, despite how absolutely vibrant they are. Dried them with wool dryer balls and when they came out, they felt incredibly soft and plush.These are not thin towels - maybe some reviewers here were judging them right out of the package before washing? Or maybe we have different ideas about what quality feels like. I’m Autistic and it’s hard to find towels that don’t bother me in some way - whether they’re too scratchy, too heavy, too stiff, too flimsy, not absorbent enough. These ones are soft, perfect thickness and heft, but they are linty. The lint trap in my dryer had a thick carpet of very colorful lint after drying these. They also leave a bit of lint on my skin when drying myself off. I’m hoping there will be less lint shedding after each laundering.
