Did the job; however that glue brush is a one use only, so be prepared to purchase more if you intend to use the kit again. And you need better sandpaper than what is provided here and the contact cement, but we were prepared for that by reading other's reviews. Instructions were clear, mission accomplished.

I was prepared to go out and spend $40 to have a music store replace the cork on my soprano saxophone. After seeing this product and reading the reviews, I decided to take a risk and do the job myself. The directions included were very easy to follow because of the pictures included. I had no trouble getting the new cork on my sax. The end result was a new cork that gave my saxophone a bright, new tone that I am more than happy with. There are reviews that state that the sandpaper included didn't work well for them. I don't know why there was a problem, as I had no difficulty with it.This product is a must have for anyone who needs a new cork at a low price!! I plan on doing my alto saxophone when it needs it using the other cork that was included with this kit.

This kit made it very easy for me to recork the neck of my old tenor sax. Protip: Buy some real sandpaper at the hardware store. The tiny strips that come with this kit are so small that they're almost useless.

I have just successfully and flawlessly completed my third re-cork job with this kit. The directions are clear and concise. The only very, very minor criticism I have is the same as others have commented, the small pieces of sand paper don't go very far. Plan to buy a small sheet of say 150 grit at the hardware store to complete your project. Another hint to users, place the seam of your replacement cork at the bottom of the neck for a less conspicuous replacement look.Again, 5 stars all the way and thank you so much for a great kit/product!

The composite cork is leaky, low notes don't respond very well with it. I spoke to a pro who said, don't use composite.

My daughter (16y/o) loved that this kit came with 2 pieces of cork and everything else needed to replace her sax cork. My daughter did this replacement on her own with no assistance. She had a hard time removing her old cork but the included blade made it easier and ripped the first cork replacement so the second one was definitely needed. What a nice sense of accomplishment for her to say "I did it myself, Mom."

Not the best quality on the supplies. The cork itself is not a good quality and is not good for applying it on saxophone neck. The sandpaper is way too coarse. Overall a two star product but it comes with everything you need.

Product arrived on time and was everything I thought it would be. I replaced the cork on my soprano sax and was very pleased with the result.
