Excellent for the price
The headset is reasonably light and comfortable. The microphone location is acceptable but not great. There is no way to tighten the cords. The extra bass is definitely present. When I have recorded my voice, the pitch is noticeably lower than any other microphone I've used. Distortion is fairly minimal. I have used the headphones with an HP laptop and have found them quite satisfactory for my purposes. They also work well when I listen to music on my iPad, but I do notice a bit more bass than otherwise.

I gave these 3 stars for the fact that they work and sound ok however the padded covers completely disintegrate after just a few uses as other reviewers have stated. Save your money on these. Choose something else.

Great earphones
These are great headphones! People like them so much they steal them! This is our second pair!

Utter trash - Sound like dollar store headphones
I have a pair of wireless Sony headphones that sound pretty decent and I have had what I think are the older version of these headphones from about 20 years ago and thought both were decent. But these overmodulate and there is absolutely no bass, tinny treble and mostly midrange. I am pretty discerning with my music and should have bought better headphones so that’s on me. But the reviews were so good and my experience with Sony has been good in the past so I gave them a try. I should mention that they appeared to have been opened before. The cord was not coiled neatly in the box and there was no seal to break. Maybe there isn’t on this model? Will be returning and if you are at all wanting these for music I would not consider this model. I have never given 1 star to a product before.

Be careful! There are two types with the exact same shape in the market.
It's good. Just be careful there are two types in the market. Buy the one which is sold by Amazon. The one which is sold through Amazon does not put too much pressure on your ears and it says Made in Vietnam on the back of the box. The other type that I ordered from another seller looks identical but you notice when you put it on. To my experience, my ears would feel like there's too much pressure after 10 to 15 mins of putting the headphones on. After reading its box, I realized it is Made in China so I returned and ordered this one. I use it for long hours without any ear pain or pressure or anything.
