Great too look at buy easy to tip over

3-Way Solution
Great alternative to a 3-way light. Choose the size of bulbs to put in each socket, and turn one or both on as needed. Great quality, except one was a bit wobbly on the nightstand because the center screw on the bottom protruded a bit.

Beautiful, highly functional lights
They are a little lighter weight, lower quality than I expected (more plastic than metal I think), but I’m very glad I bought them. Fair value in my opinion. They are really beautiful. I have them on the nightstands on either side of our bed and they look great. I also could use them in the dining room, living room or family room. I like the versatility of the double, independent lights and the dangling pull cords are a nice design element . A bonus is the usb outlet in the base. LOVE IT. I bought 6” black charging cords for each. I would buy again.

Don’t buy them unless you can DIY - Wobbly enough to be unusable.
These lamps are unstable without some DIY magic. The cylindrical base at the bottom of these lamps is made of very thin stamped metal. It is so thin, that the metal deflects (warps) whenever any pressure is placed on the center column of the lamp (meaning it wobbles - a lot)! It makes you think it isn’t screwed together tightly, that the lamp is top heavy, or the base isn’t stable, but that is not the case. The lamp is fine…it is just the base that is the problem. To fix this yourself (the DIY magic), peel off the felt pad on the bottom of the lamp and unscrew the round plastic cover underneath, you will find a set of wires that are crimped together, a weight for the lamp base, and a nut holding the center column of the lamp to the base. Uncrimp the wires to separate the cord from the lamp, use a wrench to undo the nut and the weight and separate the base from the lamp. Buy a $5 round metal j-box cover from Home Depot like the one pictured in the image. Apply 5 minute epoxy to firmly glue this plate into the bottom inside of the lamp base to reinforce the metal. Wait for it to dry and then reassemble in reverse order. The wobble will be gone. If you have trouble removing the nut on the bottom or tightening it, you may need to undo the 2 screws at the top of the lamp to expose the nut at the top of the lamp column. Grab this nut with a vise-grip to keep it from spinning and turn the nut on the bottom. If you aren’t willing to DIY it, don’t buy it…as the wobble is very bad (disqualifying for normal use) and you’ll regret your purchase (1 star). With the DIY fix, they seem to work great (4 stars) and put out a lot of light with 2 x 100 watt bulbs in them. I will give them 3-stars because of the hassle it took to arrive at a fix. I hope this helps somebody!
