Biocorneum Silicone Scar Gel with Silishield®, SPF 30 Scar Cream, 20g

I got a knee replacement in early April and have this long scar going down the middle of my knee. it was very lumpy and red and looked awful. I got this scar gel and was rubbing it on every day. The lumpiness has gone out of my scar except for a little bit at the top, which is not as lumpy as it was. The scar looks so much better now. I like that the gel has an SPF factor in it. I was told not to let the sun get on my scar because it will turn it brown so I like the SPF factor. I would recommend this gel if you have a surgical scar because it works. I’m now using it on an old scar. I’m hoping it works, but I haven’t been using it long enough to see. Yes this stuff is a little expensive but it does work so it’s worth it.

After surgery I was left with this awful scar that was caused by the rubber of an inhaler mask. I was so heartbroken because the scar was very noticeable after scabbing. I decided to do some research and came across this product. I’ve been using this product now for about a week. Yes just a week. The pigmentation of my scar has tremendously improved. I highly recommend & will continue to use this product.

This is very easy to use and I got it on recommendation from a friend who had a bad scar. So far, I've been using it for two weeks and it is working very well! worth the price!

Worth Trying for Scar Care (Give It Time!) I tried Biocorneum Advanced Scar Treatment with SPF 30 to help soften and fade a scar, and overall it’s been a solid addition to my skincare routine. This gel uses medical‑grade silicone plus SPF 30 to protect and treat the scar area — the silicone helps create a barrier that supports healing and smoothing over time, while the SPF helps prevent the scar from getting darker in the sun.  The texture is lightweight and dries fairly quickly, which makes it easy to use daily without feeling sticky or heavy, and it works under makeup or sunscreen if you want a seamless routine.  After consistent use over several weeks, I noticed the scar looked a bit lighter and smoother — it definitely takes patience, but I feel like it’s helping. Some people see bigger changes depending on scar age and type, but following the twice‑daily routine is key.  Cons: it’s on the pricier side, and results aren’t instant — you’ll want to stick with it for a couple months to really judge improvement.  Bottom line: Good derm‑grade scar gel that feels nice to wear and does help fade and flatten scars with consistent use. 👍

This product came highly recommended by a good friend, whose recommendation actually came from her neighbor—a highly respected plastic surgeon. That was enough to get my attention. I love to BBQ, and over the years my hands and forearms have collected countless little burn scars. I’ve been applying this product exactly as directed, twice a day, and after only 8 days I’ve already seen a remarkable improvement. Many of the scars are noticeably lighter and my skin looks healthier overall. I’m genuinely impressed with the results and look forward to seeing the continued improvement with longer use. If you’re looking to reduce the appearance of scars, this product is absolutely worth trying. Highly recommended!

Easy to apply, silicon gel does not rub off on clothing and made the incision scar actually feel better. Have used it twice before on other scars and works great to help decrease redness and scar appearance.

I get frequent IVs and a recent one left a raised red bump and I’m terrified of a keloid and future IV difficulty. I got this product, applied it to my week old IV spot and the redness and bump went down to flat OVERNIGHT. I don’t know that my experience would be typical - but it made me grateful that I read all the reviews and trusted them and bought THIS particular product. I looove it. The consistency is nice and I like that it dries in 15 minutes. I haven’t noticed any kind of fragrance. My skin is lacking melanin - so I can say that this is a white cream that dries down clear but I’m not sure if there would be a purple cast on melanated skin. Highly recommend. My scar is quite small so I got the smallest container. Now that I know how well this works I might try it on some older scars - I wish I would have gotten a larger bottle but this will probably work great for my small scar. If you’re between sizes and not sure, I’d suggest going with the larger because you never know when you might need this - cat scratches, bumps, acne, keloids, mosquito bites, etc

All the scar treatments have 👍👎 when reading reviews. I decided to choose this one of the broad spectrum of SPF of 30. Is it advanced treatment? Who really knows they all have a hype, stating some sort of advanced treatment in them. The tape is a skin color that hides the appearance of the scar, but unfortunately I was allergic to it. As advertise with this product, it says it hides the appearance of scars, which is false it does not, go figure why they would say that. With all of us that are in our journey treating our scars it’s a matter of choice, along with plenty of sunscreen and covering your scars. Being diligent with your regime. It will always require time depending on the injury. I am hoping this product comes through and brings healing. I would love to give this five stars, but unfortunately, I’ve just started using it.
