Review: Just as described and true to size. - Item came just as described. It went in super easy so I believe it truly is a 4 gauge and correct size. It threaded in perfectly fine and hasn't came loose. No complaints. Review: Stylish and Comfortable, But Double-Check Contents (My Experience) - I recently purchased the Big Gauges Internally Threaded Surgical Steel Black Double Flared Tunnel Piercing Jewelry. Here's my honest review based on my experience: Pros: Comfortable Wear: The surgical steel is smooth and implant grade, which minimizes irritation and feels comfortable for everyday wear. Stylish Design: The black double flare tunnels are sleek and look great. Internally Threaded: This design is generally considered more secure than externally threaded tunnels, especially for larger gauges. Good Value (Considering My Experience): The price seems fair for the quality, especially if you receive all the expected parts (see note below). Cons: Missing Parts in My Order: It's important to note that my order arrived without the screw backs advertised. This was frustrating and required contacting customer service for a resolution. Limited Review Information: There aren't many reviews available yet, so it's difficult to gauge overall quality and consistency. Overall Impression: Despite the missing parts in my order, I like the tunnels themselves. The internally threaded design is comfortable and secure, and the black surgical steel looks sharp. However, the missing parts were a major inconvenience. Here are some additional points to consider: Double-check the contents: Upon receiving your order, carefully check that all parts are included, especially the screw backs for these internally threaded tunnels. Customer service: My experience with customer service was helpful in resolving the missing parts issue. If you're looking for internally threaded tunnels made from surgical steel and prioritize comfort and style, these could be a good option. However, be aware of the potential for missing parts and double-check your order upon arrival.

Careful when treading together the 2 halves.
Wanted to Guage up from 0g to 00g after 10+yrs of 0g solid double flares. Be sure to use the stretcher spikes first. If tight, go slow and remember to lube up..lol. I used a triple antibiotc, worked perfect and applied healing material immediately. Right ear slid in with just a little assist. Both rubber stops in place. Wore for 24hrs. Left ear was stubborn...after 6 solid attempts and not working I finally got it past that *pop*. When you hear/feel it...you will know. Unmistakable. Not anymore painful than a good pinch. Small price to.pay for success. Let left ear wear spike for 72hrs soaking in a shotglass of warm water and turning the spike. Crusty's were from the stretch and the lube. Chasing the spike out the back of the ear with the larger part of the 2pc flare tunnel can be tricky at first. Had to reset a couple times, but it wasn't too bad. ***Closing the tunnel*** Be careful....your ear will likely be a little bit swollen and sore. Mine were. Right ear went through and was easy to get the back threaded into the tunnel. Left ear...yeah, not goin down without a fight. Got the back threaded on and tightened up so it wouldn't come off. Inadvertently catching a bit of swollen skin. Ear will be sore from steatching, I didnt recognize the catch. After the first few hours I turned the tunnel and it was tight. Soaked and it spun very little, but still kinda stuck. Could not unscrew the back to reset. Left for a few days, kept soaking regularly. 5dys later the back finally un-froze and was able to get it all cleaned up. Added a little more triple antibiotics and put the flare back in. All back to normal. This is the guage I have wanted to get to. This was the perfect set time get me there.

Got these to prevent falling out while sleeping with only partial success
While I’m sleeping my jewelry often comes out and I’m on a frantic search for it in the morning worrying that in the hours it’s been out my ears have closed, but they always stretch back out. I figured maybe a threaded dual flare might help more with keeping it secure. It’s an improvement but I still wake up missing one at least every other day. My earlobes are really chunky and they get pushed out when in my sleep especially if I’m on my right ear. BUT, they look great, the threading inside is really easy to twist together once it’s in your ear and they’re light and secure during the day. I’d recommend them for most people but if you have chunky earlobes they may still come out easily

It’s cheap for a reason. Sharp, Sticky, and not safe to put in your body.
They go in fine, but good luck getting them out. I had to spend $10 for a local piercer to painstakingly unscrew one of the threaded steel tunnels after trying for a week on my own. She confirmed that it was not double threaded or user error, it’s just cheaply-made poor quality jewelry. The ends are SHARP and sliced my fingers and the piercer’s gloves as she tried to get a grip on it. The ends are tapered in a way that cannot be grabbed with pliers. The piercer needed help from another artist in the shop to thread the teeth of the pliers through the inside of the tunnel, and it was the *only* way to get any kind of friction. They spent about 20 minutes working on it and I could see them starting to panic before it finally gave. I left with a swollen empty piercing, and after allowing it to heal without jewelry, I’ve lost a size and I’m back down to 6g after maintaining a 4g for 3 years. It was my mistake to purchase cheap junk and put it in my body. I have always purchased from body jewelry specific sites/shops, but in this economy, it seemed worth the risk. It wasn’t worth it and now I’ve spent the same amount on this ordeal as I would’ve if I’d bought quality jewelry originally. I’ve learned my lesson. Never buying this cheap stuff again.

Threading can go wrong, wide gauges
They aren't lying when they say big, they are wider than my other plugs but are sturdy and durable if you thread them wrong they don't go back to normal and its hard to get them to unthread at times but they are pretty decent

My lobes are too chunky
These get a solid 3 stars from me. Pros: * Surgical Steel: The material is great; it's smooth, hypoallergenic, and feels high-quality. * Internally Threaded: The internally threaded design is a plus, making insertion and removal much more comfortable and less irritating. * Black Finish: The black finish looks sleek and stylish. Cons: * Length Issues: This isn't the company's fault, but I wish these tunnels were just a tad longer. My earlobes are a bit thicker, and these fit very snugly, almost too tight. It's a bit uncomfortable for extended wear. I think if the flare to wearable area was a little longer, it would be much better. * Sizing: I would suggest that someone with thicker lobes, really double check the measurements before purchase. Overall: These are good quality tunnels, and I appreciate the internally threaded design. However, the length just isn't ideal for my earlobe thickness. If you have thinner earlobes, these would likely be perfect. But if your ears are a little on the 'chunky' side, you might want to look for tunnels with a longer wearable area.
