BariWiseProtein Cereal, Cinnamon, Zero Sugar, Gluten Free, Keto Friendly & Low Carb (7ct)

These took some getting used to but are now a favorite of mine to pack in extra protein n the go.

So, the picture looks like a somewhat larger box than most. (For $16.99, it should be. For about $3.95, I get 18 oz of other cereals.) When it arrived, the entire box is 5.29 oz. It contains 5 small envelopes -about 1 large bowl of cereal total. (See pics.)So, since the description said, "This product is returnable or swappable.", I decided to return it. NOPE: "This product is NOT returnable." My wife said, "You can't return food products."So, I called Customer Service for help. The very nice lady said, "The reason why is that you can't return food products." Mmmm. After my explanation of all the ways this took me for a ride, she immediately refunded my payment. (Thank you.)So then, we decided to sample this amazingly wonderful product. I don't believe that I have ever heard my wife sound so disgusted with the taste of something. "It's so sweet that it is terrible. Yuck!"Well, it says that it contains <1g sugar. So, I looked for artificial sweeteners. At the end of the list was Sucralose. So, I tried it. Sucralose should be at the beginning of the list because 15 mins later, I still have the horrible taste in my mouth.Amazon lived up to its Prime value and refunded my money with no argument. Good.

I ordered this out of curiosty. I did like it. Will not order again, not because of any problem with the cereal, simply cannot afford it. Not much cereal for the price, but it was ok just to see what it was like to eat. Good luck to you. I have to stick with cereals that are perhaps, certainly not as good for my health.

Think Cheerios sweetened with sucralose. It delivers an reasonable amount of cereal with low carb load and doesn't have a lot of sugar embedded in it (unlike other cereals that reference a unsatisfyingly small amount of cereal to claim "low carb" status). To my palate, it is tasty but cloyingly sweet. It is good for a snack and per my diabetes monitor it does not have much impact on blood glucose. Overall, I like it but wish they'd tone down the sucralose a bit.

Box came all smashed up!Cereal expires in April 2025, 2 months?

Love that this is made out of soy, which is healthy. I just have 1/3 a packet a day, though, to keep it keto. I use heavy cream diluted with bottled water instead of milk because that has 0 carbs.

I used to order this all the time and it was tasty and a useful part of my routine. In the last few months, it seems like the formula/recipe has changed. It doesn't taste good anymore and I probably will stop buying it. I can't quite put my finger on what it tastes like, but way more artificial now. It used to taste like regular cereal. Something is really off now.

I have to say, in my hunt for low carbs AND low calories in a cereal, I wasn't too hopeful that I would find something that would be edible. Wow - was I in for a wonderful surprise! BariWise cinnamon cereal is so delicious. This could go toe-to-toe with Cinnamon Toast Crunch and win. Added bonus is all that it offers diet-wise. The price is a bit steep, but since I have paid far more for food that was nowhere as tasty or healthy, I'll end any complaint right there.Also love the individual packaging of my tasty cinnamon circles!
