I purchased this product to install under the railing on my deck to provide some additional ambiance. I've been very happy with it thus far. It works as advertised and was extremely easy to install. There are a ton of colors/options with the lights and they shine brighter than I was actually expecting. I purchased an 80ft string as I wanted my railing to be on one continuous string as opposed to risking color variation by connecting multiple lengths. I've been very happy with the output of this product.I had a small issue with my initial delivery, but I want to commend the seller on their EXCELLENT customer service. They responded extremely quickly and promptly addressed the issue to my satisfaction. Could not have asked for more on their part. Very pleased and would gladly do business again.If I were to get extremely critical and look for something to improve, the only thing I would say is that I wish the remote for the string had a little more range. It feels like you need to be pretty close to the receiver and within a direct line (w/out interruption). Works fine for what I'm doing, but would like to be able control from across the deck and have the receiver hidden. This may be correctable with the Bluetooth phone application, but I have not downloaded and attempted as of yet.

I just received my 50' LED lights yesterday. I was prepared for issues when setting it up. To my surprise everything went great. I first set them up in my kitchen to make sure they worked. As soon as I plugged them in, the lights came on to a vibrant color. I then put batteries in the remote controller, turned the lights off/on, and experimented with the various controls. The controls are pretty straight forward.Next I downloaded the app. You can use the QR code do this or just search for LED BLE in the app store (IOS). The app found the lights right away and I was able to control them within seconds. I didn't have a lot of time to explore all of the functionality of the app, but it seems like it's very comprehensive. I will continue to play with the settings.As far as the distance away from the controller to turn the lights on and off, I had to be within about 20'. This may be due to the fact that I installed the lights inside crown molding in an outdoor pavilion for an up-lighting effect.The lights themselves seemed very durable and were encapsulated in a thick rubberized housing. As per my above install, the lights won't be directly subject to the weather, so hopefully they will last a long time. The colors are very vibrant and the dimming capabilities are pretty good.I would definitely buy them again!

Arrived late because DHL couldn’t find my house! (Not vendor’s fault, as shipped from China with correct address)Pro: Worked out of the box. 45 ft continuous strip encased in silicone. All connections were IP67 and long. Remote connected immediately, as did the app on my iPhone.Con: Came with 3M double sided tape but silicone will not stick to ANY adhesive! Just the nature of the polymer, so used supplied clips/screws. Noticed that power supply gets very hot on full brightness white.White is typical RGB cool white color. Overall very happy with product and would recommend, with caveat that waterproofing means no-stick.

I purchased the 50' length knowing that a more robust controller and power supply would be required. I removed the entire length from the reel before testing it (you should always do this because it can be damaged if you test while on the reel). All LED's worked, remote was good, but the app on my iOS device was super nice. It allowed you to control the RGB lights for brightness or fade timing. I was surprised to see the microphone feature and music feature which made the lights move to the sounds. LED strip was enclosed in a flexible rubber sleeve with an end cap. Very pleased with the quality and speed of delivery. I used a smart plug and have it on a schedule to turn on and off in the evening or I can control it directly with Alexa.

Not going to complain about having to switch out cord for a different style it’s how I mounted it inside the crown molding. The remote that comes with the kit works but not in my situation due to mounting. The app works great scanned the tag sent with the lights and it synced up perfectly. Now on to the issue I do have and is cause for the 4 star review. My cable remote apparently is on the same frequency as the lights. I turn the volume up on the tv and it turns the lights on. I turn it down and they go off. Possibly something to look into fixing.

The screws were difficult to place and if you drill too fast the rubber bracket rips so if you do buy this just be prepared for some frustration. The remote and lights work great. Although, the card for the Bluetooth application for your phone doesn't have the name of the app. In the Google play store it is LED BLE. The music setting isn't as sensitive as you'd think and can only be done through the app. You also aren't able to program any of the effects with a specific color so far that I know at least not with the remote.

Well first off instructions? I was confused on what to do and how to set them up, I finally asked my dad and he was able to help. Second Give warnings maybe? Like don’t leave it wound up and on? Ik May have been stupid on my end but I’ve never leds before. But besides that I like them a lot I can change the color to anything the remote works and I like that I can make it really bright or really dim. Thanks!

These are nice and bright. The white actually appears to be more of a light blue. The remote has to be pretty close to sensor to work. The phone app takes some getting used to as well. The only thing I did not like was that when they are in the waterproof housing the tape is on the inside so you have to buy the extra tape like I did. Don't make the mistake I did at first and put the mounting tape up first. Put it on the light strand.
