Over the years, PAJAR has developed and implemented techniques to improve their high quality boots. With the addition of a patented insulating mid-sole (Iso-Lana) made up of small air bubbles between layers of aluminum, felt, and wool, Pajar boots can withstand severe cold up to -74 degrees Celsius. All seams are tape-sealed and the adhesive construction further ensures the waterproof quality of the boots. PAJAR boots are produced in a wide range of styles, materials, and colours to keep up with fashion trends. They are advertised in consumer fashion magazines and have become a necessity for trendsetters.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
The Good:- Really comfortable.- They "bend" like normal shoes, if you have a pair of snow boots, you know they can be really hard (the soles).- As hot as my Salomons that are 600G of insulation.- Your feet dont feel clammy on them.- I can wear normal socks (non-merino wool) for 25 F degrees easily and walk hours without any discomfort. Below 25 I recommend wool socks along with the boots. The Bad:- Runs small. You have to order a size up, in my case Im 11.5 and went for the size 12 for a good fit.- You need to wear long socks with it or the material against your bare skin will leave a rash and be uncomfortable (for which, you can tuck your jeans into the boot as well).- No tabs on the back for snow shoes (however, I didnt buy them for this purpose)- They dont have the best grip out there, the grip is like snow tires, soft, perfect for the city, however, on hikes they wont "bite" as much into the snow. The Ugly:- I dont love the ankle support. Could be that I have skinny legs, but after a few hours I feel like my ankle is too loose inside the boots, its a weird feeling with boots.Conclusion:- These are my go-to-city-boots, period, nothing touches them for that. Comfortable for all day wear and that's saying a lot for snow boots. For short/packed hikes I also use these, for deeper snow hikes or snow shoeing, I would use others.

Amazing Boots, Sub-Par Laces
I'm extremely satisfied with this boot as it's the best one I've ever owned. I've worn it through the winter so far here in the Metro Detroit area and it's been up to every task I've put it through. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the original laces wore out and broke way too quickly.I ended up buying these laces and they've been great: (72 Inch Coal Black Rugged Wear Professional Boot Laces Round Long Lasting Shoelaces - 2 Pair Pack) via Amazon.

Good: I like the boots a lot as far ...
Good: I like the boots a lot as far as style, weight, and warmth goes. Perfect for slushy Chicago winters, and enough room for thicker socks. There is some arch support--better than most, but I still swap the insoles. The zipper adds some easy on/off capability, but you still need to re-lace a bit. Too warm to wear all day, but that's a good thing IMO. Seems like they'll last at least a few seasons. Bad: Unfortunately, I am disappointed in the quality a bit: the left boot is cut differently than the right; as if the outside of the boot was measured a few cm's incorrectly, leaving the tongue off-center. While it doesn't affect the fit enough to be uncomfortable (or for my needs, to send it back), it's still pretty annoying when you're paying $100+ for a pair of boots. QC should be better at that price, IMO.

The Cadillac of Winter Boots!
Pajar boots are the Cadillac of winter boots. They have a very warm fleece lining, are a little wider that a normal shoe of boot in order to accommodate have socks, and they are definitely waterproof. I have never worn a boot so comfortable right out of the box. They wear extremely well and provide great traction.

Pajar Men's Trooper Boot Runs on the Small Size
European shoe sizes are typically given as a range of American shoe sizes. The size I ordered, European size 43, has an American size range of 10-10 1/2. With this boot, if you wear a true 10 1/2, I would order the European size 44. I were a 10 1/2 and my foot is right at the end of the boot. The zipper on the side of the boot is really non-functional in getting the boot on and off. I probably would not order this boot knowing what I know now about the fit.

Worth every penny
Our second pair(the first lasted us over 3 years) They’re expensive but so worth it. We bought these to wear during the winter where degrees are sometimes below 50 and they’re amazing and warm through that. Will be purchasing another set for myself as these were a gift for my husband.

Attractive, warm and durable
I really liked the shoe in general. I think it would be great for a cold weather winter boot, but I was looking for something that could be worn in spring as well. The insulation is incredible and my feet were warm in minutes after putting them on. They are really attractive and I love the zipper up the side so you dont have to deal with laces! That was an awesome design idea!

LOVE these boots for Chicago winters!
I LOVE these boots! I wanted a winter boot that would be warm and water proof for Chicago winters, yet not so big and clunky that I couldn't wear them comfortably all day. These things fit the bill perfectly. You can pull jeans down over them and they look like winter shoes. Wool lined, super warm and sealed from water. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a winter boot that is fashionable, comfortable and still up for keeping you warm and dry.
