Wellspring Gardens is your go-to place for starter plants, affectionately known as “baby plants”. They will usually arrive to your garden at a lively 3-8” tall. But sometimes, they just can't contain their excitement and might show up even taller! Unwrapping a baby plant is like a green treasure hunt! The size of your new leafy friend can vary with the season or how long they've been flexing their roots here. So, each unboxing is a fresh, fun surprise! We offer five Fuel Fertilizers specifically designed for any Wellspring Gardens plant you select. Our formulas include a balanced ratio of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K), the three primary macronutrients that plants need to thrive. But that's not all. Each Fuel formula also contains essential intermediate nutrients like calcium, magnesium, and sulfur, as well as a host of micronutrients. Together, these elements work to stimulate strong and healthy growth, helping your baby plant reach its full potential. Moreover, plants also need carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen, which they naturally get from air and water. When combined with optimal sunlight and watering practices, your baby plants are set up for success. ## Features - MATURE SIZE and CARE GUIDE: The self-fertile Issai Kiwi thrive in full to partial sun, needing 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily. The company was quick to address the issue and refund our money, so I purchased one more and this new one is thriving! It's been in the ground for about a week now and seems to be enioying it's new home. I appreciate the company's costumer service, and the plant itself seems like it will be a great addition to our garden. ### ⭐ Too Tiny *by on Reviewed in the United States August 10, 2026* I bought this product and they immediately died. The garden replaced them, great service. But the plants are tiny and weak at best. The first time I put them in the ground, this time I put them in separate successful planters protected from harsh sun. The pictures speak for themselves. Very disappointed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Healthy Plant *by on Reviewed in the United States May 20, 2024* Arrived perfectly packaged. Nice roots. Bright and healthy green. Looks in excellent shape. I choose this specific kiwi variety because most require male and female plant to propagate but this one does not. This one is self fertile. I also like that it does well in zone 9a. I also like that it's not a furry kiwi plant so you can eat the peel and all. It's a smaller size kiwi which is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. I have done some research on this plant and this one is a proficient cultivar that will give me a nice harvest. Very impressed with shipment and satisfied with plant. I am optimistic that this plant will thrive. I am very happy with this plant. A lot of care was put into it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Issai Kiwi Vine Live Plant - Actinidia arguta by Wellspring Garden - Hardy Kiwi Fruit Trees Live Plant - Thriving Fruit Tree Starter for Your Garden - Starter Plant - Barbados Cherry Live Plant (Acerola/Wild Crapemyrtle) - Malpighia emarginata - Wellspring Gardens Starter Plant - Healthy Live Plant - Compact Size Fresh Fruit, Ideal for Gardens & Containers - Dwarf Cavendish Banana Plant Live Tree - Musa - Wellspring Gardens Starter Plant - Exquisite Dwarf Banana Plant for Indoor and Outdoor Ambiance - Compact Size --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/78562371-issai-kiwi-berry-vine-1-pack-live-plant-by-wellspring](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/78562371-issai-kiwi-berry-vine-1-pack-live-plant-by-wellspring) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
