Hoka Mens Mach X 2

Finally jumped on the bandwagon. Love these shoes. They look really nice and of good build quality. They fit true to size. The level of cushion is out of this world. Long runs feel easy on the joints and the angle and support make it easy, almost springy to put one lag in front of the other and go the extra mile. I like to wear my running shoes a bit loose but it seems like I need to have these tighter than other shoes so they don’t wear into the back of my ankles. The back of ankle material/ support is thinner than most running shoes. Not really an issue in the flats but not ideal for hills. Wearing Marino wool socks almost eliminates the issue all together.

Disclaimer: I have narrow (C width) feet. Out of the box, I took them for a 10 mile run on the treadmill. They don't like low speeds or walking; but when you put energy in, you feel like you're getting more back out. Rate of perceived exertion was lower than with my Bondi 8's for the same speed, and my heart rate was 8 bpm lower than with my other Hokas for the same speed. The material is very thin which makes it feel like not wearing shoes, but most importantly I noticed WAY less fatigue after finishing my run than I would have expected for that level of exertion. The color is admittedly not attractive, but I can't see my feet any way when running. I'm about to buy a few more pairs.

The shoes did not fit. Not even close. I ordered a size 13, medium. I could not even get them on. I have 8 other pair of Hokas and no problems with any of them

Very light...but hard to get on and off quickly, sized small..might try a size larger...if u want a loose fit.

Smaller than I thought a bit more flimsy than I wanted but so far they look cool and hopefully they give my feet relief

After putting about 100 miles on these they are still comfortable and in good condition.

These are truly like walking on air So comfortable right out of the box

This is my 3rd pair of Hoka’s. 2x Mach X and this is my first Mach X2. Excellent shoes, very light, ideal for hot weather. Wet weather grip has improved from Mach X
