I thought that at this price range, the claims in the description will be greatly exaggerated. As it has turned out, that is not the case here and this is, in fact, a very powerful Uv365nm torch light. At these power levels, UV light is dangerous and can very quickly damage your eyes, even with very short exposure, ither by looking straight down the barrel (a seriously stupid move) or by bouncing light. Eyes protection by adequate UV blocking safety glasses is essential to operate this torch if you want to safeguard your eyesight. Withing literally a few seconds of exposure, this light can give you Photokeratitis: This is essentially a "sunburn" of the cornea (the clear front surface of the eye), also known as snow blindness or arc eye. Symptoms, which typically appear 6-12 hours after exposure, include pain, redness, blurry vision, a gritty feeling, sensitivity to light, and watery eyes. This condition is usually temporary, resolving within 24-48 hours, but is very, very uncomfortable Prolonged exposure can and will make you blind. This torch is not a toy and should be kept away from children and handed with care. It is as described and feels well made with quality materials. Time will tell regarding LED durability but for now, I am happy to award this torch with a 5 stars score and a highly but cautious recommended tag.

Excellent piece of kit. Great value and a very well built item. Quite heavy duty alloy nice weight. Can be used as a power bank. On the negative side you have to go through the five modes to switch it off which can be quite annoying. They make great presents and I’ve bought one for my son and another for my brother in law so if that’s not a recommendation I don’t know what is

This torch exceeded my expectations by a good way. The quality and brilliance of the beam is outstanding. Having the choice of rechargeable or standard batteries is ideal, particularly if recharging is not to hand. Unfortunately the carry case is not very robust and one of the clips broke first time. However I will not be using the bulky case, just leaving the torch in the glove box.

I still have the last one of these I bought two or three years ago I think it was. Still working and amazingly the dust cover for the USB port is still attached and still as new. I'm pleased that this torch is exactly the same one but back then it was called...LUXNOVAQ. I've dropped the old one many times or its rolled off the surface and survived completely. Please consider putting a straight edge on the things so they don't roll. Excellent all round quality super bright torch.

I needed a decent torch for general use and after reading the reviews I settled on this one. I’m really glad I did. The build quality is fantastic, the adjustment is amazing from an extremely bright concentrated beam to a wide bright beam. The battery life is great and it charges very quickly. Overall if you want a well built, extremely bright,reasonably priced torch I would highly recommend this one.

Wir haben zwar eine relativ ähnliche Taschenlampe zu Hause im Einsatz, die stets griffbereit an der Garderobe im Flur hängt. Aber für unseren geplanten Camping-Urlaub im Zelt, für den wir gerade alles bestellen, von dem wir annehmen, es zu brauchen, wollte ich eine noch etwas stärkere Leuchtkraft haben und eine vernünftige Aufbewahrung. Nach eingehender Recherche fiel meine Wahl dann schließlich auf dieses Modell von SHADOWHAWK, um das es in meiner kleinen Rezension gehen soll. Mir hat direkt der Koffer gefallen, den ich auf den Produktfotos mit großem Interesse gesehen habe. Und tatsächlich, beim ersten Auspacken hat sich bestätigt, dass dies ein richtig vernünftiges Extra ist, welches ich so nur bei sehr wenigen Mitbewerbern finden konnte. Die Taschenlampe selbst ist aus Metall, sehr einfach zu bedienen und wirklich extrem leuchtstark. In der Dunkelheit von unserem Balkon eingesetzt, kann ich beinahe die Nacht zum Tage machen, es ist der schiere Wahnsinn! Dabei kann man stufenlos von Weitwinkel- auf Punktstrahl verstellen, indem man den vorderen Bereich der Lampe hoch/vor bzw. runter/zurück schiebt. Echt krass! Die Stromversorgung ist auch so ein kleines Highlight, das ich unbedingt hervorheben möchte. Entweder, man nutzt den eingebauten Akku, der sich über USB-C aufladen lässt (Ladegerät liegt leider nicht bei, nur das typische, aber überflüssige, sehr kurze USB-Kabel); oder man verwendet das Batterie-Modul und setzt die mitgelieferten Mignon-Batterien in die Halterung ein, die dann in die Lampe eingeschoben wird. So hat man im Notfall selbst dann sofort wieder Licht, wenn der Akku aufgebraucht ist. Das alles und noch weiteres Zubehör findet ganz wunderbar Platz im Koffer, der zudem guten Schutz bietet. Selbiger lässt sich natürlich viel einfacher im Reisegepäck verstauen als lose Einzelteile, auch geht so nichts verloren. Schon alleine das macht für mich einen großen Unterschied, wenn ich mit anderen Produkten vergleiche. Ich empfehle diese Taschenlampe sehr gerne weiter!
