This is a great book about building a business behind bees.

Nothing interesting. Many simple ideas and you don’t need to read this book.

Background- 3rd year beekeeper with 30+ hives, looking to grow into a business within 5 years.Based off the description of the book "...how to expand, sell and market...", i thought this was the ticket. But this book was not what i was expecting. This is actually NOT a how to book - it even says so right away in first few paragraphs- but more of an ideas book. The book tries to be geared towards already successful beekeepers looking to take the next step. But i feel its more of a beginners business book.Basic example of most of the book are along the lines of- you can make money from selling wax. You can consider selling wax in these various outlets...be sure to consider the following.... etc.The book also focused heavily on utilizing a physical store to sell products. While certainly an option, i feel this is a very limited outlet. This book touches on a mirad of ideas and outlets, but does not go into any depth.To sum it up- OK book with good pictures. But nothing a business course and some basic beekeeping world knowledge wouldnt already prepare you for.

This whole book is written as if your going to start a retail/store front operation selling everything from lip balm to packages and equipment. It provides very little real incite into the factors involving keeping bees for a living. Save your money and buy some queen rearing books.
