Fujifilm Adaptor Ring Black (AR-X100B) for X100 Series

Added a filter for better increase the weather sealing not the camera. This ring is needed to add the filter. This is a little more expensive that I think it should be, but went OEM just to avoid compatibility issues.

Overpriced and I have no idea why this isn't included with the camera. I have no problem with the product itself, thus the 5 star rating, it is of exceptional quality. However, I also purchased a JJC LH-JX100 Lens Hood/Adapter Ring for a lot less money, and, to my surprise, noticed that the lens hood portion is removable, thus leaving you with the equivalent to the AR-X100! So, not only do I have a lens hood, when I take the hood portion off it is an adapter ring. Sorry Fujifilm, but I recommend the third party option!

I'm not sure if I was shipped a counterfeit product of if the description is just wrong, but there is no way that this device fits my x100vi lens. It can't slide on (diameter is the same as the front of the lens) and there isn't any other method of attaching to the lens. Those flanges on the picture don't seat with anything. Complete fail and an expensive one to boot. Now I have to decide what to do with this $50 piece of junk.

Excellent quality, fits perfectly well on the lens. Very fine manufacture. It is a little bit expensive but with this camera it is absolutely worth every penny (or dollar)

A good fit and match to the black finish. This is the Fuji brand, though, so it's quite overpriced in my opinion.I switched to an xe1, but if I had kept the x100s I would have returned this adapter for a generic brand. I have seen some with good enough reviews that it'd be worth a try.

Does what it is supposed to do. Provides modest glare shading on its own without attaching the additional hood. With a standard filter attached the camera is nearly twice the depth as without the adapter installed so it does lose a bit of its low profile pocket-ability. But the added protection of the exposed lens element and ease of using a standard lens cap rather than the original slip-over cap is worth the trade off.My only gripe is not with the product itself but with Fuji's long standing practice of selling these "filter adapters" as separate upgrades when they should be included with the camera.

The AR-X100 is a solid product and sturdier than what I thought...I assumed it was going to be a cheaply made,flimsy easy to break Adapter but was pleasantly surprised when I received it... Purchased this because I eventually want to add filter(s) to my new camera...No problems or issues with this so far...Very useful item!

With the ring I am able to add different types of filters. I personally bought it so I could mount a polarizing filter allow for some great scenic shots. For those of you that shoot often understand the need for mounting filters. It gets the job done.
