I was shopping for bass amps like crazy, and the Stage 800 was on my radar, but I was afraid to spend the $$$. But when they put it on a good sale, I pulled the trigger. MAN AM I GLAD I DID!!! I will never buy another NON-MODELING AMP ever again!!!! This thing can produce basically ANY tone from ANY popular bass amp in the world, has tons of built-in effects, comes with a footswitch, has a built-in tuner, can be controlled via the Fender Tone amp to change ALL settings from the comfort of your chair, can provide play-along-with tunes via Aux In jack (or Bluetooth, see below), is HELLA LOUD, supports external speaker cab to get even LOUDER, has STEREO DI Out Jacks, etc. etc. etc. -- the list is endless!!!!!@@@!! I have used Fender Mustang modeling guitar amps before, but this one is the easiest to use EVER. Yes, the Bluetooth is a little flaky, pretty much every time I want to play I have to (1) Kill/stop the "Tone App" on my phone, then (2) turn on the amp, then (3) relaunch the Tone App. It doesn't seem to reconnect gracefully unless you stop the app each time. Big Woop. Also, forget about streaming play-along music VIA BLUETOOTH while ALSO controlling via the Tone App VIA BLUETOOTH -- those two things did not seem to play nice together at all... but controlling via Tone App and doing play-along music via Aux In jack worked GREAT!!! I have used the Zoom B3n as an amp modeler for a long time... hate to say it because I love the B3n, but the amp models on the Stage 800 just sound BETTER, like MUCH BETTER! In the small room in my house I jam in, with the master volume to about 10 o'clock, every wall and ceiling in the room is vibrating in sympathy with the amp and my neighbors are starting to hate me! Haven't unleashed the full power in a larger space yet, but I'm guessing it will sound great cranked up! To play without making everyone hate me, the Master Volume only has to go to about 8 o'clock! Maybe 8:30. The thing I love about the Stage 800 is that the 2x10" speakers are very pure & flat & pristine, I guess they have to be to accurately model so many different amps and speakers. For example, when playing tunes through the Aux In jack, I expected the music to be muddled or bassy -- it was not, it sounded like it was being played through a great PA system! The only warn-off you will get from me is: This is not the amp for you if you are technically challenged. If tweaking knobs for Volume/Bass/Treble is about all you can handle tech-wise, this amp would be WASTED on you. BUT, if you know how to fiddle with tech a bit, and you want to have an amp that can sound like ANYTHING rather than being locked into a "one sound amp" for the same amount of money, then STOP STALLING AND JUST GET THIS AMP NOW :)

Okay, so this amp performs. 2x10 that really kicks. Sounds amazing anywhere on the volume dial. The modeling this amp does is very impressive from clean and crisp to dirty and deep with more effect than I will ever use (they all sound amazing too!!!) I have use this amp for live gigs without a problem (even having a lead who likes his volume blasting). The tuner on the foot pedal is awesome but the screen on the amp makes for quick and easy tuning no matter where you are on the stage. It comes pre loaded with 100ish models and room for 100 additional empty slots Connects to your phone or tablet via Bluetooth so you can play a song at practice or jam tunes in-between sets Connects to fender app via WiFi and let's you control volume and tone live. All in all this is the bang for your buck most awesome amp you can play on. Ok so now for the negative.... This amp requires an extension cabinet (rumble stage 210) to really perform at it's best for larger gigs where hooking into the PA is not an option. However at 350$ for the extension cable is not bad. For 1100$ for the amp and cabinet extension you are getting all you will ever need and more.

This amp is just great. Very well made, not too heavy, excellent hardware. You can really turn it up and shake the walls. There are some 100 presets that are easily accessible, changing the sound of the input guitar from metal to just bass ... and the bass sounds can be quiet or wide. There’s WiFi and Bluetooth, too, to stream other sounds through while I’m playing. The WiFi is there to make sure the amp’s software is always the latest. I’m just learning how to play a bass, so I’ve not fully explored all the capabilities that it has. Still, it was a great purchase that I know will last me for years. Very good job, Fender!

Nothing to dislike about this amp. Great features, sound, alot of bells and whistles to go along with it. WIFI, Bluetooth enabled, 4 button foot switch. Get the Fender app and you can tie your smartphone in and play along to your music. It's alot of fun! I'm looking forward to seeing what else I can do with this thing! So far, I'm really diggin' it!

This was for my Granddaughter birthday. She got a Bass Guitar also. She loves this thing.

I bought one Rumble Stage from amazon that was DOA. Sent it back and bought another one that actually turned on. Like others, the issues stem from the Tone App and bluetooth. Forgetting the pairing on both the amp and my iphone, restarting everything, re-pairing only works 1/4 of the time. When contacting Fender, they tell you do do those steps, and when that doesn’t work, blames the iphone. You can still manipulate everything with the onboard LCD or the footswitch, but honestly bluetooth isnt new tech nor was it in 2015 or so when this amp came out. Fender could simply make a firmware update to fix this, but apparently they won’t, given how long this has been an issue. That being be said, I do think it’s a fantastic amp. When asking for an Ampeg sound, it delivers a sound similar to my Ampeg RB112. It has every sound imaginable and then some, all just as customizable as if you had the physical equipment. Every pedal I could think of is in there, and you can choose where in the line you want it to be, in case you have a particular preference of chorus then overdrive or vice versa, post amp or pre. The on-board usb cable works as a decent audio interface, so no need to buy that intro-level Scarlett you also have on your wishlist. In my apartment, I can crank it almost 10% of the way before my neighbors can most definitely hear it. If they would change the usb to a regular, serviceable-type USB, allow the basic amp to work even when the UI dies, and then get the damned Tone app to work right every time, I wouldn’t hesitate dropping $1600 on it (in 2023 money, for those taking inflation into account).

The modeled sounds are incredible. The amp is loud AND accurate. Great price and great product.

This amp rocks! It can get super loud and sounds great down low as well. There are a ton of presets and more can be downloaded as well as user customized presets. Use the wifi for software updates and then disable it. The amp is perfect when paired with the matching 2x10 cab to get the full 800w. It’s not too heavy to move around either and looks great.

Awesome combo amp and really loud. I needed a powerful and easy to carry amp and this does both perfectly. Really enjoy the phone app with the tones and effects. Highly recommend.

This amp kicks butt!! End of story

Finally decided it was time to get an amp. I was mainly looking at the Fender Rumble Stage 800 or the Boss Katana 210 and ended up choosing the former. I decided to go with a digital amp cause there's a lot of features to play around with. For example, instead of using it as a Bass amp, you can use it as a guitar amp by selecting an one of the two acoustic amp models, turn the bass eq down and add a bit of reverb, then save it as a preset. You can also use it as just a bluetooth/aux speaker outside of playing your instrument which makes it more than just another bass amp. Controlling the amp via the mobile app is also a cool feature, used it a few times when the phone was closer to me than the amp. My only problem with this amp is that there is no way to prevent/separate the bluetooth/aux from the feeding through the DI. I feel like this couldn't have been a difficult task for Fender to implement.
