Prime also promotes the natural slime coat regeneration in fish, is pH neutral, and won’t overactivate skimmers, making it an essential solution for tank cycling, water changes, and maintaining a healthy aquatic environment. ## Description Prime is the complete and concentrated conditioner for both fresh and salt water. Prime removes chlorine chloramine and ammonia. Prime converts ammonia into a safe nontoxic form that is readily removed by the tanks bio filter. Prime may be used during tank cycling to alleviate ammonia nitrite toxicity. Prime detoxifies nitrite and nitrate allowing the bio filter to more efficiently remove them. Prime also promotes the production and regeneration of the natural slime coat. Prime is nonacidic and will not impact ph. Prime will not over activate skimmers. Use at start-up and whenever adding or replacing water. Directions use 1 capful 5 ml for each 200 l 50 gallons of new water. For smaller doses please note each cap thread is approx. 1 Ml. This dose removes approximately 0. 6 Mgl ammonia 3 mgl chloramine or 4 mgl chlorine. May be added to aquarium directly but better if added to new water first. If adding directly to aquarium base dose on aquarium volume. Sulphur odour is normal. For exceptionally high chloramine concentrations a double dose may be used safely. Review: Great Product!! - The story starts with my old established tank being broken by relatives kid and it just broke glass on base and one side. i have large angels, peacock rainbows, corycats and bosemani ranibows. i decided to make a new tank instead of fixing the old one, due to the size issues i had to give it 3 days after siliconing it to let it dry out, by that time the bacteria in my filter might not have survived as there was no circulation in filter. i brought prime to cure my issue of new tank syndrome as it was going to be a fully stocked tank, thankfully i had my sponge filter working in bucket so it had the bacteria colony from my old tank. seachem prime did what it was suppose to do, it helped me set up a tank and i just lost 1 fish. Its costly but considering its a highly concentrated solution and you just need 7ml for 300L (my tank is actually 290L) it would last you a long time. if you use any chlorine remover, you can replace it with this. it also converts ammonia/nitrate. please do remember adding this is not the end all of your regular maintenance, you will still need to change the water depending on stocking level of your tank and tank size. i highly recommend this and in long run it turns out to be around same cost as any other item. So when using Stability, Prime is a must. A 5 gallon tank requires 0.5ml of Prime initially and dose accordingly for subsequent water changes. **Q: If i change water daily should i use prime daily?** A: Well, its not recommended to change water daily unless u r getting the environment to desired level like medication, cloudy water etc And yes, add prime with every water change. **Q: How many time can i use prime in a week?** A: Once after every water change. **Q: How to use is directly into aquarium with running filter or without filter** A: If you have a sump then put at last chamber. If no sump then put in the aquarium directly.
